Dwheels, do you happen to know what's going on as far as our embassy not giving dates like other embassy. Any input will help me to figure what's going on. ???

I got my interview from the NVC on Friday but I have not received my email either.

I have a question. For the vaccines it says that you need a Flu Vaccine between Oct and Feb annually. My medical is scheduled for September but my interview is in October. I have all the rest of the vaccines on the list. Does that mean I have to get a Flu Vaccine as well because my interview is in October?

I think I found the answer to my question about needing the Seasonal Flu vaccine in Canada. First of all nobody I can find is offering the Flu vaccine yet until October. My medical is booked for September so according to the link below I won't need it:

http://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-and-answers/vaccination-requirements

Q. When does the flu season start for purposes of the seasonal flu vaccine requirement? Since the seasonal flu vaccine is required, do I have to get the seasonal flu vaccine if it is not the flu season?

A. For purposes of the immigration medical examination, the flu season starts on October 1 and ends on March 31 each year. If your immigration medical examination is during this period, you are required to have the seasonal flu vaccine. If you have an immigration medical examination completed between April 1 and September 30, when it is not the flu season for immigration purposes, you are not required to document that you have received the seasonal flu vaccine.

Sorry haven't heard anything but that they haven't even posted interviews for September and October for K1's and others to select. I know DR usually is 2 to 3 months behind everyone else. Have no idea. Sorry.

Have no idea. I know every airport is different but I believe long as you two stay together they will allow you to stay together. Chicago is pretty cool POE. I know my friend was allowed to go back there to immigration when her step-kids came.
