Question - is everyone getting their dates through phone calls, or via email?

I've been patiently waiting for an email but nothing yet, even though I got case complete on 26 August - if it's worth calling, I'd like to know so I can set aside some time tonight!

Pick the closest seat to the front of the plane and be swift exiting and reaching the queue lines. That alone should save you a ton of time. For example, Economy Plus on United Airlines has a reasonable cost, very comfy compared to regular coach, and you only need to pay for the segment that ends at POE airport. If you choose it early and up front, you can exit with the last of the business class passengers.

We had our interview yesterday morning. We were told we were approved, but ceac shows AP. But I have read that it always shows that while they are preparing and printing the visa. I pray this is the case and not that we will be stuck and I will have to return home alone.

Things really changed over the years. In my time, one would approach the front door with flowers in hand.

Pick the closest seat to the front of the plane and be swift exiting and reaching the queue lines. That alone should save you a ton of time. i got my interview date last friday, got my email yesterday... it actually only took 1-2 business days.

Form I-130
9/9/2013: Married

10/21/2013: APPLICATION SENT

10/23/2013: NOA1

4/1/2014: NOA2

8/14/2014: Case Complete

10/20/2014: POE EXACT A YEAR!

 

Form I-751: Remove the Conditions on Residence

7/27/2016: Application Sent

8/1/2016: NOA1 - CSC 

10/18/2016: Biometrics

12/1/2017: Received RFE

12/7/2017: additional evidence sent and delivered 

2/2/2018: Green card mailed! Status changed!
