My bad, it wasn't clear enough. I know you're overwhelmed with the sudden approval and knowing all about the NVC process. See, what you do is print out the AOS barcode sheet and white out the AOS in Attn: CMR AOS and use that barcode sheet for IV documents. Many seem to say that their IV barcode sheet was Attn: CMR.

Gotcha. I will need to send it to my PIL to print out so I'll print, white out and then scan it back in for them. Perfect. Thanks dilmera as always!

I am in Australia so calling is really difficult, though I have sent an email to the new contact email. Hopefully they will answer overnight otherwise if they haven't, I will call in the morning my time and try to squeeze that in before work.

I found that calling at 9pm (Melbourne time) is the best for me. That is 7am NVC time and the last couple of times have gotten through within a couple of minutes (when I call before work Melb time, I am on hold for about 45 minutes). Also, I call through Skype and it costs next to nothing.

Hi VJ friends! Just checking in to say hi. Glad to see some progress happening over here. I hope some of the new changes will improve review times for you!

As for me, I am still waiting for my interview date to be assigned. I tell ya, if someone is going to be delayed at every step it would be me! The majority of people with CCs from 2 weeks ago already have their interview date, but of course not me.

I thought I was finally done with NVC torture when I got the CC on Aug 26th, but they still have me in their grasp. Let me go NVC, let me go! I wanna go HOME!!!!

Please read what I quoted from seanimo, this is a new thing and Saylin will be updating her wiki later this week. You can use the barcode sheet of AOS, just change Attn: CMR AOS to Attn: CMR/DR. Some people say it's DR, that's what the NVC reps are telling but on the barcode sheet for IV it's Attn: CMR. To send both packages together, put all your AOS stuff in one envelope, IV in another and put both of these in a larger manila envelope.

Uh, no I won't be updating until AT LEAST the 22nd. Not only because I'll be busy planning this week and be on vacation next week, but I also want to see how the process is with others before doing a major overhaul on the wiki, so it might even be later as it depends how many people here are at the start of the NVC process and actually update on how the new path goes.

Guess I'm gonna have to make a new flowchart as well

Just spoke to Arthur at the NVC and he said NOT to send the IV package and to wait until we have paid the bill. So is this change official, or is it just some shortcut that has been discovered? Haha. I asked him if there'd been a change to this process recently enabling people to send both things at once and he said no. He also said that our ds-261 might be "in the building" but it's still being processed even though it says "completed" on the invoice page so... is Arthur a little behind the times or something? :|

Received 60 days email from NVC this morning. Sent IV documents on September 3rd and they scanned it in their system on Sept. 5th that's the date letter is showing. The thing that worries me I didn't get the 60 days email in August when I sent my AOS package.

Rang NVC last night to check if our case is complete as I saw the AOS fee when from PAID to N/A and it is!!! Case complete as of 5th September. YAY!!!! Now to just wait for the Sydney consulate to contact us for the interview.

In the couple of weeks I've been calling (they love me...err...I think) to help with questions regarding all the paperwork I'm just prepping up I've spoken to Arthur a couple of times. Just a feeling but I think he goes 'by the book' - while I feel sending in the both packets at the same time has proved successful, just not an actual process that has been integrated...but that's just my feeling.

P.S. He gave me a 5 week waiting time for my file to be received by NVC from USCIS today (I wasn't calling for that) so perhaps that's just a spiel he's offering up to keep the phone volumes under control.

Just got off the call with Olivia from NVC... She said that my AOS with a scan date of 30th July has not been reviewed yet and should be touched only by this month end (that's when I touch 60 days)... My IV Package with a scan date of 28th June was approved on Aug 13th....

So I'm quite sure that this new process is not going to make any difference to anyone of us with scan dates prior to Sep 2014.....

Not sure if he's behind the times or not but my guess is if you called 4 more times and spoke to 4 more reps you would get 4 different answers. The change is no shortcut, it's what it actually says on the NVC process website.i'm just not so sure it applies to the people that are in the middle of the process. And as Saylin is saying (who has likely been through a great many changes here) let's all wait and see how this plays out for people. I didn't send ours right away, I waited until 30 business days from our ds261 and had reps tell me that I should send it because I would get me fee invoiced and paid before they ever looked at it. But this was before the new process. I would suggest calling again. Arthur is a notorious grump!

And the individual packages should be marked with the case number and either AOS or IV. The address on the outside of the oracle is the one where you have to be concerned with the attn. And I didn't white out anything! I didn't have any reps tell me that. I'm sure they actually scan the barcode and that's the only part that matters to them on that sheet.
