"no i didn't expedite my case .. now there's no lottery interviews in the embassy anymore, so i think that the reason our interview been faster than before."

SOLOENTA!! Here's the reply I got from Dwheels in the interview thread:

"Well Egypt was a 4 to 8 month wait than the last 2 months just about 2 to 4 months so here hoping things are getting shorter and better."

Hope things will actually be better when u get CC!! Hang in there my friend, ur almost at the finish line!!!????❤️❤️

Just to update.. Persistence paid off.

Got my case and IIN.. This morning it was wait for 30days. This evening it was available and given.

Hahaha.. I love NVC.. 12 days after received date.

Ohh.. Then what should I do next?

guys before i have a mild heart attack here please help me I keep readiing that when the aos changes from paid it could be a case complete????? or does it just mean the aos is completed and approved???? i just checked and before i say anything to hubbie i needed to know if my hopes are mislead please

Didn't you send your IV package in August around the 6 Th? Not sure but worth calling NVC to find out. What was the change was it from Paid to N/A? Praying you get CC .

I had to call NVC today due to this new information on sending in packets. Spoke to Olivia. I asked about what to do if I have aleady sent in AOS packet but not yet the IV packet. She asked when I submitted the DS261 and then also asked if I had all documents for IV packet. I submitted the DS261 on 8-12-2014 and I do have all the documents for IV packet. She said she will put in for a review of DS261 and that I can go ahead and send in IV packet to Attn:DR instead of AOS CMR. She said I should expect the IV to be available to pay in the next few days and I could then access the DS260.

I know others have done this or at least discussed it but due to the recent developments I thought I would share that I am also embarking on this route. On my way to post office to send packet now.

It's not too late for me to send it as well, because the package has not yet arrived at the parents-in-law's house. The package I sent contains both the AOS and IV. My question is this: how am I meant to send the IV package without a bar-coded cover sheet?

We got our IV invoice today too! Our DS-261 was received 7/1814 and was approved on 9/2/14 (but they couldn't tell me that until 9/5/14).

Paid the invoice... Now just have to wait until the DS-260 is available to submit... and then wait some more!

I don't have a lot of hope, but I have a little hope that the one supervisor was right and both packages could be reviewed based on the AOS scan date instead of the IV package scan date! Here's hoping!

Perhaps I am dense but I don't see any place where it says how to send them in one package when you have only one bar-coded sheet. In fact, it says this: "Some people have been told by operators (or got the idea themselves) to send the IV package way before the IV bill is even invoiced. Although this may be feasible, I personally wouldn't recommend it."

I'm confused I have only the AOS bar-coded cover sheet. How can I send in two packages particularly if they're meant to go to separate places? I don't know what the right thing is to do, I just want to make sure we are doing this in the speediest fashion.
