Hi all. My wife and I met online in Nov. 2013 and were married in Jan. 2014. We hope to have an interveiw in Nov. or Dec. Do you think that we will run into a problem when we have interview because of the short time we knew each other before marriage????? If so what can we do???

can someone help me please

Hello,

I sent the expedite request, thanks for all help and support

does any body know that if its approved , can I move the interview then to another embassy ?

Syrian applications are processed now in Amman , Jordan . but the safest way to get there from Syria is to go to Beirut , Lebanon then take a plane to Jordan.

I asked NVC three times to move the interview to Beirut embassy but denied as my wife is not Lebanese nor has residence there, but told me i can request that from Beirut embassy once getting CC and interview scheduled!

so can i move the interview to Beirut embassy once expedite approved ?

thank you

AOS application sent via Email June 10th . before June 24th when i called NVC they told me my scan date is June 10th. after that they are telling me my scan date is 24th !! and asking me where did you get the June 10th date from !

DS261 Submitted June 6th. Resubmitted by mistake June 12th

DS261 Accepted July 31 (got that through NVC call)

AOS checklist July 31 (got that through NVC call , didnt get email yet)

IV fee invoice Email , INVOICED on website and paid :) August 1st

AOS checklist email August 2nd .

AOS checklist send via Email Aug 4th

This worries me too because I saw my hubby on the day I got married. We got engaged 1 hour before we got married (but the marriage was fixed 4 months before the wedding date). We have skyped before and have known each other for past 2-3 years.

Hi everyone...

Our AOS was received by the NVC on 29-jul . Any idea what dates are they reviewing at the moment and what date should we anticipate the review.

Thanks in advance!

The last person that got a CC had scan date of July 17th. All things be equal if NVC speeds up they should get to July 29th in 2weeks.

pros and cons ?

Have not seen anyone pay by using money order. Maybe if there's anyone that have used money order for payment, he/she can clarify more.

According to my spreadsheet, it's an average of 33 calendar days between submitting the DS-261 and the IV bill available to pay.

Oh that's pretty good really.. well less than I was expecting. I hope it is around that many days and not too much closer to 60. I have all the info an I am itching to get that form done so I can send it all off and hopefully get a case complete before the end of October.. dreaming? Maybe!

SWEEET!!! I've been planning on a CC by mid October, but looking at Saylin's spreadsheet, the average time from last scan to CC is 42 days which puts me at CC on September 24th!!! that would be awesome. But with the fact that I was at USCIS for just over 10 months tells me that my luck isnt average but I can still hope without exagerating!

Just thought I'd get that out there :dancing:
