Just visited the website.. Didn't find helpful info about the pcc Jaipur..people there are just as desperate to find out the experience at the Jaipur PSK.. :( I've been getting bad news all day.. My hubby's passport was issued from Jaipur which is 8-10 hours away from where he lives..that's why we are planning on getting pcc from there.. It ll be really disappointing if he goes there and comes back with NOTHING.. Thank you once again for all the help with the form and the info.. Oh and What does he need to take with him at the office?-- sorry for all these questions.. Only I know what m going through.. :( :( :(

Well for PCC nothing . But to be safe it would be good if he takes two forms of ID : Ration Card + DL/Adhaar Card/Voter Card/Pan Card . His 10th certificate and 12 certificate. They never asked me for any of this but i took it anyway.

Well he can visit the nearest PSK. PSK servicing you is determined on the basis of your permanent address . I suggest that you look into it.

I know how it feels. I can totally empathize. But the best for you guys would be to be mentally prepared for the procedure, it tends to be less painful then. It was hard for me too when i had my passport renewed.

I wish u the best.

Hello,

I sent the expedite request, thanks for all help and support

does any body know that if its approved , can I move the interview then to another embassy ?

Syrian applications are processed now in Amman , Jordan . but the safest way to get there from Syria is to go to Beirut , Lebanon then take a plane to Jordan.

I asked NVC three times to move the interview to Beirut embassy but denied as my wife is not Lebanese nor has residence there, but told me i can request that from Beirut embassy once getting CC and interview scheduled!

so can i move the interview to Beirut embassy once expedite approved ?

thank you

Hey guys I am preparing for IV packet and it includes

1. Bar Coded Cover Sheet

2. Original Marriage Certificate

3. Original Birth Certificate

4. Original Police Clearance Certificate.

5 Beneficiary Passport Copies.

6. Photocopies of all the documents mentioned above.

7. Beneficiary Photographs

Am I missing something or If anything else I should mail them? and few more queries

1) I am sending them originals but I want to get them laminated (God knows if they handle these documents with care). So Just curious to know if anyone who sent them original laminated documents and faced any issue?

2) Do I need to write Case no, Date of Birth and Name at the back of photographs?

3) Is it necessary to write Case no on all the documents including originals because I don't want to write anything on originals? Shall I add sticky notes with case number or any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

1. It is not advisable to send laminated documents.

2. Yes, you have to write all that.

3. Yes, write on all documents if you don't want to lose them and you can use sticky notes or non adhesive labels for originals.

17th business day since DS-261, I'm hoping that if we don't have the iv fees unlocked in 13 business days they'll still let me put In a request for a review as it seems a few people here have had success with.

DH should be on his way back tomorrow. He tried to get his irs transcripts last night online and it wouldn't let him for some reason, so he ordered them by mail. Once they arrive we'll send the AOS and IV packages via EP at the same time. All of his income is foreign, so it's not like it makes a difference, we're relying on the joint sponsor anyways but c'est la vie.

Does anyone know how the scan dates work with EP since everything is scanned already?

You can also get NVC to fax the transcripts to you and there are online websites that give you a fax number if you don't have a fax machine.

Ok I think one of the NVC reviewer finally woke up from sleep and picked up a July 15 package to review. Someone on facebook got CC, scan date July 15th.

I guess its going to take NVC 2-4weeks to finish up with all of July packages.

Finally some progress. It seems to me NVC picks up speed towards the end of the week.

Hi Guys! I finally got a case complete. Im a bit relieved since ive been here for many months. Last scan date was july 15th, just called an hour ago and spoke to Lee who confirmed my cc. The ceac portal never had my aos fee change from paid to n/a. They may have fixed that now.

I wanted to sincerely extend my regards and best wishes to everyone here and I hope you are reunited with your partners very soon.

Congratulations. Best of luck for the interview.

What does everybody mean when they say scanned? AOS scanned, IV scanned?

It means the date NVC acknowledges they receive your packages. My packages were delivered to NVC on August 7 according to USPS tracking and when I called August 8, they said they received my packages, so that's my scan date, August 8.

Not sure about moving abroad for the purpose of getting an expedite with USCIS, sounds unethical or maybe even illegal.

In my case I was living abroad for almost 4 years before we filed with USCIS, and we filed four days after we got married, early April. At that time I had no idea about the auto-expedite thing, was bracing for 6-8 months of USCIS.

I had to wait 11 months for USCIS to make a decision on my case. No wonder people chose the easy route to expedite because that's the only easy to obtain expedite in this process.

I am probably just dense but I'm trying to figure out how to find average dates between DS-261 submission and IV bill coming up for payment. Those two things are linked, correct? I'm impatient to pay my IV bill so I can start the form and send my personal documents. I know it hasn't been a long time for me but I'm getting increasingly scared that my husband will have to leave Australia without me in February

I am the beneficiary. My husband is the petitioning USC.

During my weekly 7am call to NVC, which usually results in me banging my head against the kitchen counter, I finally got some good news!

:energy::dance::dancing:Expedite request approved!!!!! :dancing::dance::energy:

As someone living/filing from abroad who did not receive an automatic expedite at USCIS (although I honestly don´t understand why they do that) due to the USCIS sh*t storm of 2013, I am soooo happy to finally catch a break!

Since I´m sure someone will ask, my request was due to a normal pregnancy. I know that there are many embassies that would not accept this sort of case, but luckily for me the Santiago embassy does not receive a high volume of cases. So if your local embassy is pretty quiet, you know what to do to get that expedite request *wink wink* (F) (Haha I´m totally kidding!)

As far as timing, I sent the request email on Aug 19, received a response email from NVC on Aug 29 that they forwarded the request to the embassy, and according to the call center lady this morning, the embassy accepted the case on Sept 4 and NVC will ship my case to Chile today. Yay!!! I´m sooo happy to be done with that NVC nightmare!

Hi, congratulations on your expedite approval. I wish more and more people follow your example and transfer cases to consulates which are not busy so that at least some workload is reduced at NVC.
