Does ur child live with u?

Is ur child immigrating with u?

Will ur child immigrate later?

Will ur spouse immigrate later to join u?

My wife n child are both us citizen n they both live there in usa so wat do i put in for these question plz help..

I hope you also sent the originals as well, not just the translations. NVC insists on the originals unless the translations came direct from the documents' official issuing agencies.

Don't be so sure. When I call I give my name for all three questions; petitioner, beneficiary and caller. I'm a self-petitioner (EB1-EA category). It confused many an NVC rep as well, so don't feel bad.

Oh yes, the originals are attached to the translations.

another question- I have my father's irs transcripts for the year 2011 and 2012.. We have filed 1040 for year 2013.. I dont have IRS transcript for 2013.. Can I use 1040?

Hello people. Just so you know, I am not your age but by reading this thread I learned a lot about the NVC process! At first I thought my Mom petitioned me so I thought I'm F2A. Then my mom told me it was my step-father who petitioned me, not her. They got married before my 16th birthday. My mom left us (me and my older brother) to work in the USA. She's been there since 2003 or 2004. I was like 3 or 4 at the time. Last year she got married to an American and that's when she decided to get me. She petitioned my brother who is in college but her current goal is to get me first. The process started last year though I'm not sure which month. But now I know that she wouldn't be able to get me until next year. A month ago, she called me and said "I don't think I'm gonna come soon, I received a letter-" "Something about that it's gonna take 60 days?" And she was like "How did you know about that?!" Well, she was kinda shock I guess haha. I just told her I like browsing the internet lol. Well now, we are still waiting. She told me the NVC received the.. I don't know something about the AOS on July 25 or something. And that's it we are still waiting for another letter from the NVC. Oh God, please help me I want to be with my mom!

Question about the police certificate: my husband is planning on sending me his police certificate next week and it will take about a week or two to get here. after the AOS package, I will send all the documents required for IV package. How recent of a police certificate is required? is there a time limit?

You can e-mail your Embassy to make sure but most as in Egypt is good for 3 months but for the Embassy it's good for one year. I Would e-mail the Embassy or someone doing the paper work for India will come along to say for sure. .

Hello visa journey memebers ..help

i am preparing I-864 for my wife and son, last year my employer was paying me 1099 misc, i had 26800 total income with out any expense on my 1040..... on may 2014, i got a new job well above poverity line but i have only 3 month pay stub so is that enough? instruction says 6 months...or do i have to include explanation for another 3 month.

Really? You were the one with 8.27 received date right? I should have case number assigned by monday as my received date is 8.28.. Hmmm.. Will call tuesday or wednesday next week..

I didn't get the transcripts. I sent in my tax return with a copy of the w-2 and it was accepted.

Just got off the the phone with NVC talked to Don OMG what a sweet heart he is. Told me I have two more weeks to go and my scan date for my IV is July 24 Th.

You sent your package on July 22nd, and they scanned it on July 24th? That may be a typo!

I FedExed mine on July 21st and it arrived at NVC on July 22nd. They told me that my scan date was July 25th.

Maybe my scan date is earlier? Who knows how they work since they're super disorganized?

I received another checklist. Will I have to wait another 60 days when they receive my new documents? It's been 50ish days since they got my documents from my last checklist. Do I really have to start the wait over???

Sorry to hear that you got a checklist. When was your scan date?

How many days does it take for NVC to review a checklist document? You can check Saylin's Wiki at "Step 8 - Review: Checklists and Case Complete" for the answer. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

I hope you can fix the mistake and send your corrected checklist document to NVC next week.

Sorry about that. If the checklist is for the same packet (AOS or IV) as the previous one, maybe you can try asking a supervisor if they will allow you to carry the corrected packet to the interview? I think Shinwary was allowed to do that when he got the second checklist for the AOS packet.

I sent mine on the 21st of July as well and it got there on the 23rd...and my scan date was told to be the 24th.

Where did you send it, DR or CMR? Mine was to DR.
