Did you do EP?

Second question- did you send IV documents before IV invoiced?

Thanks.

Ughhhhhh got a CHECKLIST last scan AOS July 14. For part 6 item 13a for sponsor and for me places adjusted gross and not total income. Also for beneficiary birth certificate on civil docs I sent that and they say they dont have it. Last an employment letter updated.

Question for all Canadian VJ members. I am USC living with my hubby in Canada. I work online from a US company but I also for the past 4 months work for a Canadian company in Canada. Which letter of employment do i need to send both or just American job????

Please if someone can help I would greatly appreciate.

Also after sending this will I have to wait another 60 days??

Thanks to all.

Absolutely! We're just a few blocks from the Sea Bus so it'll be easy to get together!

You'll definitely want the employment letter from the US job... But if you're going to continue working for the Canadian company after you move (online or whatever) get that one too!

Thanks Nightingalejules for the useful info on employment letter. On the measles my hubby got booster free too.

On another note, about Vaccinations for your medical... I just got my titre test results back and it turns out that my immunization against measles didn't show up! I know I was immunized, but the doctor says that happens sometimes. I got a booster for free, which is great for the medical, but in this day and age where a lot of parents are no longer immunizing their kids, I think more of us should get retested!

(Especially for us Canadians, who can get the testing and shots for free before we move!)

I'm waiting. I don't really see the benefit of emailing my documents early. I hope for your sake you get that DS 261 complete too! It seems so silly that such a ridiculously small form is needed before we can advance.

I know! And the time it takes to review that!!!! It seems a joke. Oh well..prayers for all of us!

I might also wait the IV bill be invoiced and then send the package.

Thanks.

I sent IV documents before IV invoiced. Taking into account that I am in Spain and express mail takes at least one week, I am taking the risks.

Nevertheless, I have an identical second package ready just in case they misplace it. I hope not. I included Saylin´s cove letter and specified (in bold) to add my documents to my AOS package. Maybe it works. Lets see.

Superstar! :star:

Thanks AustinCanada for your help, apparently the rep said they reviewed the AOS and IV package together because they were both in the system waiting. I will resend both work letters and changes to AOS. Hopefully it wont be 60 days I thought I was hoping for December Interview but I guess not anymore after this.

I noticed you live in Vancouver sorry to ask thru here but in your opinion to live with kids is it better White Rock or Langley?

Ah, that makes sense. In a way, you got "lucky" since they reviewed your IV package earlier and gave you a checklist on the IV package earlier too.

I like White Rock better since it's more beautiful than Langley (but it's more expensive, of course). :content:

Hi,

We did EP.

We did send our civil documents before we paid the IV fee. (still haven't paid the fee but have been told that DS-261 has been reviewed) We waited just more than a month from the DS-261. I am hoping that since the Iv documents were scanned on Sept 4 then our 60 days will be from then. Not sure that it will help but I was told on the phone that I could send early and we hope that it will save time.

Great news! I hope you're able to pay the fee later today! I think that was submitted on 7/17 so that took 32 business days.

@nicholemariev, I think you're waiting on a 7/18 scan? Maybe you should call them before they close for the week end? You should be the next CC! :)

I will call when I get off work and let you know  Paid still says Paid, but yeah, I didn't plan on trusting that anyways.... cross your fingers!

Hi everyone,

Im new and I have an question. My iv package was delived to nvc on June 26th, on July 11th, I got a checklist for my aos. Resent aos documents July 22nd. Called nvc today and was told my iv package havent been viewed as yet (71 days) and I have to wait until the 60days from the date of my aos last scan for everything to be viewed. Is this true? Or should my iv package have already been reviewed?

Thanks in advance

Called NVC this morning...not sure who I spoke with but it was someone nice. Case has not been received yet. I was told to wait 5 weeks from NOA2 date for my case to be "received" by NVC. I think someone posted that they told them 25 business days which is essentially 5 weeks so I guess that makes sense. The waiting continues :clock:
