NVC Filers - September 2014

hy guys....i havent posted much but i am just so frustrated i needed to vent....called NVC today waited on hold for 50mins and got disconnected.... i dexided to call again and waited another 50mins to hear the 60day story :'( this is redicious..... they just have to look at one piece of paper!!! i got a checklist for my marriage certificate :-((((

hope NVC picks up the pace! cant take this anymore!!! i was hoping for an OCTOBER interview but looks like that is not happening....i wish there was something that could b done for future applicants that are trying to bring their spouse legally and pay their share of tax and not to mention these NVC fees!

Awww just hang in there! Something good will come out of all this patience, not sure what but they do say...good things come to those who wait. Stay positive ;)

Just called nvc talked to jim and asked if theres any news about our aos which was scanned july 17. He said nvc is currently working on july 15 so he said hopefully i will hear some good news within the week. Im praying.

He actually told you what days they're working on? I thought they couldn't tell...cuz that's what the rep told me :/

Well today is 30 business days since they received our checklist response for AOS and our IV Package... I'm gonna try calling in when they open tomorrow just to see if they have reviewed yet... might be able to see if they have any more checklists or anything. Hopefully NOT

Yes, do call and see if you can put a supervisors review or ask to speak with one...that might get you a response sooner. Good luck

Has anyone seen a case complete this week? Just curious if the National Sleep Center has moved past July 11 yet....

Someone just confirmed that a rep mentioned they were on July 15th.

been super slow lately... They probably gave up and decided to take vacations before the Summer ends.....

Either that or they're all busy in going back to school

Petitioner:

• AOS bar-coded cover sheet
• AOS fee payment receipt
• Form I-864 (signed and dated) (petitioner)
• Further information regarding part 4, question 5: domicile (separate sheet)
• Further information regarding part 6, question 5: current individual income (separate sheet) + Payslips from current role in Australia
• 2013 Federal Tax Return - (petitioner)

Joint Sponsor:

• Form I-864 (signed and dated) (joint sponsor)
• Form I-864a (signed and dated) (wife of joint sponsor)
• 2013 Federal Tax Return for above (jointly filed) including all relevant Schedules
• Proof of citizenship for joint sponsor and joint sponsors wife (US Passports)

Proof of intention to return to US domicile for petitioner:

• New Hampshire drivers licence
• Letter from state Judiciary confirming renewal of license for
• Printout of e-visa from Australian Immigration outlining 12 month stay only
• Printout of bank statements x 2 showing residential address
• Printout of statement from investment brokerage account showing residential address
• Letter from petitioners parents explaining residential domicile arrangements

Sweating bullets here! Do you think it looks okay? We have just put the package together and placed little "sign here" flags where the PIL need to sign then we are good to go I think. Does anyone else feel like this process is eating their lives?! Lol.

We sent our IV package on Aug 11 and didn't get a second 60 days email either!

Our AOS checklist was scanned on August 16th and I didn't get the 60 day email either.

Just got off the phone with NVC...and accidently clicking on the ds-261 on the ceac website cost us big time! Original submission was Jul 13. Clicked on it August 27th. Talked to Gabriella - she was really quite helpful actually...but she did say we'd have to wait 30 business days. What a bummer. Now it's definitely looking like a January interview date at best.

Thanks for the info, Purpleblush. I haven't actually heard of anyone from the week of the 15th making much progress, but I choose to believe that the agent you spoke to is right, because that is what I want to believe haha.

My AOS package was scanned in on July 17th too, so it looks like we are scan buddies! I am currently traveling in Peru with my husband so I can't check VJ or call NVC very easily, which is mainly a good thing because I was seriously going insane (well, still am) but at the same time, now that I should be (allegedly) hearing something any day about my AOS I am so anxious; it is sooo easy to get a checklist!

Anyway, best of luck to you. I'll be looking for good news

Hi seavan123, did Gabriella "saw" that your DS261 was "submitted" on August 27th? or she just assumed that you wlll have to wait 30b days from then? Cause other VJ members and me also did click recently on the button but we have not been affected by it (we just clicked, not resubmit anything). We called NVC and people confirmed that the date our DS261 has been submitted is the real date, not the date we clicked on the button.

Well she said that she saw that it was submitted from aug 27th and did not see the jul 13th date (even though I have the confirmation email for this date and did not get one for august 27th). I did ask her twice about whether it was for sure not 30b days from jul 13th and she said 'no'...but maybe she's not in the know? I guess Ill find out soon enough. Seems like a few people here have gotten email confirmations about their ds-261 from around jul 15. Just have to be patient!

hi guys just an update... case complete on aug. 26.

received interview instructions email on sept.2

and will be having interview on oct. 2 in manila U.S. embassy.

does anybody what is next? do i just wait for the interview date?

or is there a way i can get my medical prior interview date so the the process will be faster?
