NVC Filers - September 2014

I'm a bit late to the game here, but couldn't find much info about the AOS form I-864EZ, we just got approved (September 24th) and are finalizing our AOS and IV-package to get ready for this madness that is the NVC.

For those of you who used the I-864EZ form for the AOS:

We qualify to use it and plan on doing so, we've collected the IRS transcripts for the last 3 years (originals from IRS), and my wife said she can print her W-2's from the internal site at her workplace, we also plan on attaching last 6 months paystumps and a letter from the employer stating her current wages.

Is it okay to print the W-2's, or do they need to be signed from someone?

Is this enough documents to send for the AOS along with Bar coded sheet and cover letter..?

If you're sending tax transcripts, W2s aren't needed. W2s are only needed if the tax return is being sent (or, if the sponsor filed jointly and needs to show just their income).

But yes, besides that, that's all you should need for the AOS package.

Has anyone, who is not an EP, had a case complete with mutible scan dates all reviewed at the same time?

I just read on another thread, that a lady called NVC today with a scan date of 8/1 and another in September, and was informed that the NVC requested a mutible review of her pkg's but indicated they would do the review on the later date. I really hope they are not doing this to our paperwork. That is crazy!!!

Question I sent my aos package in June 18 and Iv packet on July 23.

I got a checklist for aos on August and sent it back and scan date 8/27/14.

I receive a email 2 weeks ago...

The NVC has received the requested DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa Application. However, we are still

waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support. Please return the requested

information so that we may complete your case.

But they don't mention anything about my iv packet?

when I call they said they only waiting to open the package that I sent on august 27.

now I'm scared that they didn't even open my iv packet yet and they will open them together....

If it was me I would ask to talk to a supervisor and try to find out exactly whats going on.

that is awesome new for you!!! but they completely skip 8/8 and 8/11.. maybe I hear something back tonight or tomorrow. I had checked the CEAC site a million times today.

Am I the only one thinking/hoping NVC is working faster last couple days? They are reviewing docs between 8/8 and 8/12 now...and today is still Tuesday...

Lets hope you are right!!! I have seen one cc for 8/7 and one for 8/12, those in the middle are a little confused.

Am I being impatient or what? My son paid the IV fee evening of September 26 (around 11:00PM VA time), still the status in CEAC is in process.

I thought NVC is quick in posting payment.. Hope IV fee status change to PAID soon so I can have the DS260 done.
