Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat. What happened?!

First lie, I called NVC Aug 10 and Don told me the AOS was accepted and I needed to do nothing there, then I called Sept 24 th and Vanessa told me CC that was on a Friday I think but I had a funny feeling. I called that following Monday and Torry told me no my case hadn't even been looked at so she put in a supervisor request. I hung up so pissed off I called again wasn't going to wait another 30 days so Lisa talked to Sylvia, Lisa told me 30 days I said please let me talk to the supervisor so she said she was taking my case and I should get CC soon what ever soon means. So I have left her four messages to call me and NOTHING. Here I sit while people who waited half the time I have zipping by me and complaining about how long it's taking to get an interview. This should be at the new Rant thread which may I remind you, you haven't visited even once.

I was assigned a case number on September 12 by NVC and when we checked for IIN the rep told us they are working on priority date, 2007. After a while in these few days we have realised the priority date is not applicable to us because we fall under IR-1 visa category. The rep told us the visa is not yet assigned to the case number. I wonder what's wrong with NVC, it's been so many days and we have not been assigned a IIN & they do not respond to the emails to. Wonder if there are anyone facing some issues?

Hmmmm Im pretty sure they are doing everything together now.. Either way your AOS at least should be accepted by now, you don't lose anything by calling them and asking..

I had a lawyer on my case, husband sent in AOS and IV packages together on August 6, also I filled out the DS260 same day, so they have everything from me as of August 7.

It's official. Just called nvc and got case complete. Just squeaked into September! THANK GOODNESS.

Congratulations. I am curious about the email you received. I wonder if it's the case complete email, but I had read that it gets sent after one week of case completion.

Hi we are also in the Ottawa/Gatineau are. I was wondering where you guys will be doing POE thru Ottawa airport or by car? And which entry. I have been reafing which entry to use but wanted both of yours input. Thanks

We plan to drive and will either do the 1000 Islands bridge or maybe the Prescott one. Prescott will be quieter but if it is end of Nov or Dec the roads may be better at 1000 islands.

We are going to florida too

Are you are F2A category? Are you LPR or Citizen (petitioner filing I mean).

Some reps don't give IIN right with case# just call back get someone else.

That's sad to hear Soloenta, I thought you were done with NVC. Who lied to you about the case complete?

Resp that lied are Don, Amanda and Vanessa, Vanessa told me case complete. I was overwhelmed from the mean attitude they showed. Ok wont whine here come to the thread
