12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup

Guess what? My expedite is approved, but now what?

Congratulations, your husband might be happy now. BTW, I too was frustrated with this process and had told my husband if the USCIS approval didn't come by March 2014, after one year of filing, then he could withdraw the visa application. It was a phase and now 19 months into the process, I have accepted things the way they are.

Anyone with 08/08 scan date call recently?

I called Monday around 12:30 p.m., got through after 28 tries. It was 10 p.m. my time and by the time Abby answered 18 minutes later I had dozed off. I woke up to her voice, apologized and after she confirmed my details I asked if there were any updates on my case. She said there were two mail pieces from August 8 waiting to be reviewed and told me it would take 60 days. If I find any August 7 approval in this thread I will call again or call Tuesday night maybe. Oddly, the 60-day letter mentioned that they received my packages on August 7 and USPS delivery too confirms this, but the phone reps quote August 8.

I just looked at the spreadsheet and if it is up to date there are twenty cc for this month and 30+ for August and 30+ for July. I hate to say it but the numbers here (and I know its only a fraction of those aucaully being processed) show the NVC much slower than last month. That is sad considering they kept telling us "they are doing everything they can to catch things up". Even though we are paying them for this service they seem to be responsible to no one. "WE THE PEOPLE" should be given straight answers when it comes to this process.

I think many people didn't update their case complete on the spreadsheet, I know of a few...

If its true that this is a CC and I really hope it is, its another example that the NVC operators have no clue what is really going on in this process. I have three items ready for review sent on three different dates. I was told today that it would be 60 days for each item. One is my IV pkg then my AOS pkg and one other doc I forgot to send but remembered later. Scan dates 8/08/2014, 8/20 and 9/9. This should not be tolerated but who do you talk to that can change it. And for those who would say this case is different because its EP, my reply is that all our infomation is scanned in, it should be just as easy to look at one file as another.

AILA can bring it up with NVC, but whether they choose to act on it will be up to NVC.

50 minutes later and Ava confirmed my documents were approved today and my case is complete. Thank you to everyone who answered my questions and good luck to everyone still waiting! ^_^

I also got a 8/8 scan date and called nvc Monday morning around 10am got the same answer from the rep. After confirming who I was Bryan told me a package had been received 8/8 and asked me what it was. After telling him it was my AOS and IV he quoted me the whole 60 days blah blah blah. I ask him what dates was nvc currently working he then again told me the 60 date wait. Guess Im just going to wait till I see something here on VJ indicating that they had moved on to August 7th and 8th.. To much waiting time to get the same answer from them. :(

They are both scan dates but since NVC is currently reviewing packages together they may used the August 6 or the 22nd to review your case. Your best bet is to call them cause they are already reviewing the 6th since last Thursday so you may have a cc already.... :)

I have only seen EP filers have their documents reviewed together.

I have only seen EP filers have their documents reviewed together.

Hmmmm Im pretty sure they are doing everything together now.. Either way your AOS at least should be accepted by now, you don't lose anything by calling them and asking.. :)

Ok just got off the phone after a 30 min wait (not to long) and was told the 60 day ####### and I said I just wanted to check the status of my AOS and was told my AOS hadnt been reviewed yet ( scanned date Aug 4) :( more waiting should hear this week just praying that its approved!! and no checklist

Did I just get case complete?! We can't call NVC right now to check, but just received an email saying this:

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

USCIS (239 days):

04.18.2013 - NOA1

12.13.2013 - NOA2 via email; I-130 approved. Shipped to NVC

NVC (274 days):

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

01.27.2014 - Received case no. & IIN

02.07.2014 - Completed & submitted DS-261 form online

02.13.2014 - Paid AOS bill

02.18.2014 - AOS showing as 'paid'

03.18.2014 - Invoiced for IV bill (finally!)

03.19.2014 - Made payment for IV bill

Ok just got off the phone after a 30 min wait (not to long) and was told the 60 day ####### and I said I just wanted to check the status of my AOS and was told my AOS hadnt been reviewed yet ( scanned date Aug 4) :( more waiting should hear this week just praying that its approved!! and no checklist

Do you think they may review both AOS and IV on your last scan date? It seen that a lot of people are getting cc from the 5th and 6th already.. Makes no sense why they haven't review your AOS unless they will review them together with your IV scan date..

First of all, congrats to all CCs wish you luck for your interviews!

Just got off the phone with NVC..got the same " 60 days to review" sentence but not only ....the rep (Olivia) told me that they review packages separately.So I should call them back early Nov for my AOS and late Nov for my IV Package (if no checklist) to respect the 60days!

I just don't get it...why would they aske people to send 1 and only package if they are still processing them separately???!

Anyway guess I will never understand the logic of this process if any.

I still hope I could join my spouse by the end of this year... Whish you all to finish up this process..may God have mercy on us
