So today I noticed that my AOS payment posted and shows as "Paid". I logged on to see if the IV fee was available and it isn't. How long do you all think it'll be before it becomes available?

I seen both ways, Just expect anything from nvc now days....

Yeah, I just wish there was some way to know exactly how things are being done when it comes to our paperwork. If you talk to three different operators you get three different answers to the same questions.

You can send it all again right now if you want. You don't have to wait for your IV package to become available. Just resend everything with an AOS cover sheet. The sooner you send it in, the better it is.

I'm confused now with what you're saying. So I'm up to the point where I paid my AOS bill, and now waiting for IV bill to become available. If they instructed everyone to send everything together in ONE package, why would anyone send things separately? As soon as I send the IV payment and get the barcoded sheet, I'll send it all together, or am I wrong??

I think its the same bar code sheet but what I have seen now is NVC preferred one packet..I didnt know that and sent my AOS packet...My IV fee became available last saturday...I paid it and got the same cover sheet as AOS package...However I made mistake in the AOS package that i sent before so I am resending everything... I also put a letter stating why I am sending a revise package...

Thanks Romi for your help...

If you read on the NVC site the process has just changed within the last week or so. You used to have to send pkgs seperate, however as I understand it now you send them together.

That's wonderful Godalone!

Just like in checklists, there is a real and a false expedite. If it's a real expedite, then your case should be shipped as is immediately to your consulate. NVC has recently started dishing out false expedites, where they insist on reviewing all documents before they get shipped as is to Consulates. Basically, they do that when they don't want to bother sifting through their mailroom and collecting all matched documents to the case.

Hope you got a real one... Keep us posted.

I called twice, I spoke with an Agent and Sylvia - just to confirm. When I asked her what was next, she said let her check because they sometimes comes with conditions and when she cheked, she said - you have no conditions and your case should be sent out to the Embassy by the end of this week. She said and we should get to your Civil package soon and we will return it to you to send to your husband to take to the interview, as for your AOS, you will probably want to re- gather those documents.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG THE REST OF THIS PROCESS TAKE?
