They are working the 6th already? I haven't seen any cc other than August 1st and one from the 4th..... Praying to hear something this week my scan date is 8/8

Yah I seen August 6th CC but I believe it was on fb group. Only one but at least something to give us hopes that they are progressing :)

You can access every regional forum. Also check on the reciprocity table on how to acquire the police certificates from those other countries. That's actually the best place to look as sometimes police reports are not available to people who no longer live in that country. Also how you get a police certificate will most likely be different than how you would get one from inside the country.

Thank you NLR. I wasn't sure how to access that...per my question. I did a google search now that i know it is called "regional forum" and I see it! About the reciprocity table...I have seen at least one post from someone that said the PC WAS NOT required on reciprocity table, but they got a checklist from NVC anyway. Feels a little like Russian Roulette...

Yes I too saw CC with August 6th date on fb but wondering if it was EP, as EP seems to be faster than mailing category nowadays.

Does anyone know why certain applicants can do EP rather than paper file? Is it due to consulate, or do you think USCIS flags certain applicants for a different paper process? Is the consensus that EP is faster process at NVC? whyyy don't we get EP filing? boo

I don't know whether to be encouraged by the replies on this forum or more discouraged by the September spreadsheets. If you look at the spreadsheets, this month is by far the lowest number of case completes year to date. I have always been a positive person and able to see the bright side of the cloudest situations, but this process has really worn me down. The information on how the cases are reviewed is so blurred. Are they reviewing everything at once when they get to a scan date or each package by scan date +60days individually?

Each package, is 60 days from its scan date. AOS has 60 days and the IV has 60 days. They may be reviewed at the same time, but each is reviewed separately. Think of it as a person has your AOS and another person has your IV. The time may overlap but it may not.

The 60 days is new this summer so that's why people are seeing so few CC's each month.

7 days after paying the AOS fee, I got an e-mail with the IV Fee invoice. Is that normal? Seems quick, but I'm not complaining.

Like I said in that other thread it is very quick and I hope it's a new trend from them, especially due to their new regulations.

So I sent my IV in and 60 days will be Oct 18th, however several weeks later I realized that we sent in the wrong police records so I sent the correct one in. Because of this one document my case will be delayed another 60 days? That is what the operator tells me at the NVC. Its crazy to think they will hold up my CC because of one form that is accually there just sent in later than my original package.

Yes because they will checklist you, then have to find this in their mail room and add it to the case file. A checklist always adds 60 days, (hopefully less, most often is) but I would have waited for the checklist to send in the documents.

I know they have it there I called and checked. And I sent my IV cover sheet with it. I've thought that maybe I could call and talk to a supervisor once they reveiw my IV package and inform him/her that it is there already.

If anyone has a suggestion that might help in this situation it would be apprecaited.

Really depends on your luck I seen cases where sending a document late didnt change and thing as they reviwed last document recieved with the ones they initially had. Other cases I seen sending new documents reset the 60 days counter. In one case I seen they gave cc despite missing one document and asked to just take it to the interview.

You can just never guess what's going to happen when it comes to NVC... Wish you good luck and speedy CC!
