No, our AOS package actually got approved today. We just happend to receive a false IV checklist for it. I knew we wouldn't get a cc today because the scan date for our IV docs is 8/14 -_- (which also proves that NVC is not reviewing packages together right now). But at least NVC got some work done today

Yeah but it was a checklist for your original AOS that got review and approve today right?

I recieved my IV fee yesterday. I was wondering when they will review AOS and I am trying to get a ball park of when it will be case complete, provided we dont have any setbacks with the paper work. Anyone have an idea? I am sending IV package as soon as the money gets pulled out of my bank.

Here's what I am confused about  (and I get like this a lot) - The new process mandates that you must pay *BOTH* fees before sending in documents. Why would they make you wait 30+ days to have the IV fee unlocked so you can pay it? Shouldn't it open up the same time as the AOS bill needed to be paid? There is no mention that you are supposed to pay your AOS bill and then wait to pay your IV bill - it only states on the website that you should pay both of them and then start your paperwork.

I guess in my opinion they are trying to prolong the wait time when in actuality the fees should be paid simultaneously. I know I haven't waited my '30 days' but I probably will be calling just to confirm this new system and figure out some sort of continuity (sorry it's just in my nature)...

...But I am learning that there is very little continuity when it comes to NVC!

This is from the perspective of me being within the new process.

As they mentioned in the website, allow 15 days to process DS261 before proceeding to the next step which is payment of fees. September 24, is my 15th day from DS261 submission and I called NVC around 10:30AM (Sept 24th of US date and time). The rep took my details as the usual and then verified the email addresses of my nominated address/agent which is my son. Then told me, we will invoice the IV fee today and will send email to your agent. Then I ask when will it be available to pay online, the rep said within 3 days. In short, what was mentioned in the new process seems to be accurate, at least for my case which is just a recent filer. Thanks.

It's just seems strange when the rep asked for my email address and my agent's (son's) email address. It should be in the DS261 that she's supposed to be looking at when we were talking. Unless, she is just verifying its correct. But she mentioned my son's phone number correctly. Anyway, what's important is that she said that they will invoice today (September 24) and will send the email to my agent. WHERE IS THE EMAIL?!.

Just getting some confusion on the dates as it night of September 24 there while its already morning of September 25 where I am right now. That's why I need to refer to the actual date when I say "today". IV bill, IV bill, IV bill, come, come come!

Congratulations, what is the beneficiary's country? Because I thought scheduling for October interviews was over. What was your last scan date?
