OMG!!!! As of this morning : CASE COMPLETE!!!!! Scan date 1st august!!!! Such a relief!!!

There's hope for me yet then, as our checklist was scanned on 1st August *croses fingers, toes and everything else*

Got a checklist for AOS :(

They said we did not fill in our part 13 a 1 correctly. It asks for 2013 gross income. We filled in the total income as on the transcript. We filed an I864 with a I864A.

I'm very sure we filled it correctly and I'm shocked at the checklist!

Please suggest what I should do!

USCIS I-130 : Marriage: 2013-03-28, I-130 NOA1 : 2013-07-27, I-130 Approved : 2014-02-24

Got a checklist for AOS :(

They said we did not fill in our part 13 a 1 correctly. It asks for 2013 gross income. We filled in the total income as on the transcript. We filed an I864 with a I864A.

I'm very sure we filled it correctly and I'm shocked at the checklist!

Please suggest what I should do!

I'm sorry to hear that.. :( I think I'm getting a check list for this as well, the gross income my attorney put in there doesn't match my 2013 w-2 or my employers letter either. :(

So on the 18th we received our CC. Coincidentally, this was both our anniversary and the day I was flying to the US to visit my wife. And pretty much 60 days from when NVC received our checklist response (July 22). No interview yet, but the end is in sight, finally. Oh, and CEAC never changed to N/A for us.

Congratulations and belated happy anniversary.

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."

Yup, never got any 30 business or 60 days mail.

Yet ..!! :lol:

Jinxed myself , just got the 60 days mail.....

Maybe all August scan buddies will receive that email in batches now.

Just received an email stating the new 60 day timeframe....my last scan date is 15 Aug...why would they send me this email now??? Strange....

Because they are sending out that email in batches to all people with scan dates in August. My scan date is August 7 or 8, got the email on September 20.

I got the 60 day email a day before my DS261 was reviewed and am inclined to think there is some movement in your cases. Hoping for the best for all of you! Do let us know what happens.

hi, I thought so too that maybe some activity on my case prompted that email, but with so many people getting the email, it doesn't seem likely. My scan date is August 7 according to NVC and I got the email on September 20, I am at day 47 since documents were scanned in, I got some more days to go.

Pls call them and ask.we had same issue but they said we did not included dividend which was there in W2

How do you know the countdown starts again????

I believe someone answered you already but basically I have noticed on VJ that some members accidentally opened the DS-261 link again and the time reset as if they had "resubmitted" it that day when they had not. It was just accidentally opened. That's why I say to stay clear of DS-261 link after you have submitted it and it appears as "completed"
