Really? This is really nice as we're just one day apart. Hahaha.. We may have our IV fee available for payment any day now.

All my docs are already with my son, just arrive 10:00AM VA time. FedEx was on the dot with their tracking system. :)

I received documents from my hubby this afternoon.. I will be sending my packages tomorrow :) You should be able to pay IV fees tomorrow :) if not, call nvc and ask them about ds261 and when it was approved

Was that for a checklist or your actual documents. I am also a 29th Aug scan date for IV checklist for a police certificate. I haven't received any letter yet.

No it was not checklist. It's just about they have received our documents. I'm surprised that why did they send this email now? I don't understand. Did you get any response from nvc ?

Hi all

My aos checklist says

In part 6, item 5. Current individual income...

I put the income of last (2013) year....should it be this one or

Should I just multiply one month current (pay stubs) with 12 (months) to get a projected income for 2014..

HELLO VJ friends, I cant believe it has been a week since I HAVE BEEN ON HERE. After realizing that my joint sponsor really make only $4000, I had to find another sponsor. My mother could have help but she chose not to thinking it is a way of keeping my husband she does not approved of on the other side of the world. Thank God for aunties who are proud of you for waiting 25 years and graduate with masters before getting into relationships, they were quick to help. So, I have an immigration office preparing my AOS package again because I cant afford another checklist, and then I will ship at 10:00am tomorrow. In the meantime, I tried again at another expedite request, this time with a doctor note attach! If that does not work, I need to start preparing myself to go see hubby soon.

On the one hand, parents have every right to protect themselves financially, whether by refusing to sponsor an IV, cosign a student loan, or whatever. Grown-up children have no business expecting otherwise if it would jeopardize their parent(s) financial future. Chances are such parents are looking at 30 or 40 years with no wages coming in.

On the other hand, parents have no business playing God with their children's emotions, especially when said children are grown-up adults with careers and families of their own. I see it everywhere in my society and it's pathetic and infuriating.

Glad you managed to an alternate sponsor in the end. Best of luck to you with both NVC and Mom.

good morning all vj

I got a checklist this morning,,,and me/my wife are already panic.

PLZ HELP ME UNDERSTAND THis..........I hope its a false one....

It seems everything was flagged which usually suggests a false checklist, and that would be a good thing. Can't know for sure without you listing a detailed signature.

Note to all VJ newcomers: Please maintain an updated signature, the better to allow VJ veterans to give you prompt, accurate and useful feedback.

thanks mate,,,i wish it was a false checklist but it does not seem to be. it has {x} sentences asking to complete that..i.e

[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal
income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

the checklist i received this morning highlights the following :crying::crying::crying:

[x] Item 5. You must enter your current individual annual income. This means the amount of money you expect to earn
during the current calendar year
now what do they call this current annual income...may be the projected one for current year....ok I put the same as last year (assuming that would be earning for this year too). So whats wrong with it..
[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal
income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.
But I have checked it, i have put the same figure from Fed Income Tax return. strange.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT...THANKS

I'm afraid I will be getting a checklist for this as well soon :( I was just double checking my I864 and notice the figure my attorney enter for " Total annual income " doesn't match my 2013 w-2 and also is different from my employer letter. I'm very confuse with all those numbers but as far as I can tell neither match which is not a good thing when it comes to nvc.. :(

What barcodes? Can you please explain, not sure what you are referring to. Thank you!

I received the welcome letter - which took a day to receive from the time I gave my email addresses to the rep on the phone. - Still can't pay AOS fees as of yet. Let's see how long it takes to actually be able to pay them.
