My case complete email arrived at 1:36 am today. That was a nice thing to wake up to! It is dated today, and lists my priority date last November when Uscis got my first package. AOS fees still not showing n/a, maybe that's not as reliable as it used to be?

Congratulations my dear. We all are still waiting for this day.

Case received 9/17/14; Case # & IIN assigned on 9-17-14

DS-261 submitted on 9/18/14

I called NVC today and they said that DS-261 has not even been generated for my case, so the submission does not appear on their system. I asked why would it be available on the website if it hadn't been generated yet and Lisa said that DS-261 is available as long as you have a case # but that since they had not asked for it yet, not sure if this will be accepted or if I need to resubmit in the future. She told me I was way ahead of them since they barely input my case into their system on the 17th (last Wednesday) and have not asked for anything and have not sent me an email confirming I'm at NVC.

Has this happened to anyone before where DS-261 was submitted before they asked for it? Did they accept yours or did you have to resubmit?

(I never received any email from NVC acknowledging receipt of case).

Also, she said it's taking 30 business days for review/process of DS-261. Thanks!!

I have been watching a lot of timelines and they have received the case # (and IIN), submitted the DS-261 the next day (or same day) and then was able to pay the fees the day after - I think it's just statement that they have to say.

Also, I felt like the guy that I talked to on Friday knew my Case & IIN number but because of their 'rules' I think he *HAD* to tell me that I should wait until the end of the month. It's their way of trying to control the flow - In my call center opinion.

I think the gal on the phone was sort of scolding you for doing things ahead of time. Let's check tomorrow for mine to see if it's invoiced yet - I am still getting that my case is being terminated which scared the ####### out of me until I read Saylin's wiki!

I keep getting that same message too that my case has been terminated! But I remembered that it was a good thing according to Saylin's WiKi so that calmed me down lol

Yes, I received the email that DS-261 was completed with the confirmation page attached (I also printed the confirmation and entire DS-261 just in case). That's why I was confused about her statement.
