Oh I so wish they would do that to my file. They keep saying supervisor did not see BC and waiting on checklist to be reviewed they did not want to check for BC in that package that I send it again. I think I am calling on Monday morning andcrequesting new supervisor maybe I will be lucky and get Sylvia

Some people get "lucky" when they receive 3 checklists by accident (since NVC usually issues up to 2 checklists).

AOS package (1st checklist) -> IV package (2nd checklist) -> AOS checklist (3rd checklist) -> CC (even though the IV checklist document is still pending) :star:

It's almost you want to get a 3rd checklist on the AOS checklist document so NVC can close your case (rather than NVC accepting your AOS checklist document and waiting for your IV checklist document.... which can take more time.).

Hello everyone, one question: looking at the screen shots for the DS261 application, I noticed that one of the first questions is "Beneficiary's id number". Where do I get this if I still didn't get any notice from NVC yet? I got my account number and IIN number today, but what is a "beneficiary id number"? Also, if I happen to get that, is it wise to start the DS-261 without notice from NVC? Thanks for the answers!

Well, when I accidentally "reset" my ds261 the phone rep said it might be because I filled it in before I got the email. But it appears they might have fixed that glitch now. So I say if it's available to fill in, fill it in. I know some of the screenshots for 261 and 260 say beneficiary id, but none of my actual forms did, so give it a shot!

Worst case scenario, you'll get your beneficiary Id when you get the email from NVC. But I'm 99% sure they don't use it anymore.

Thanks! I actually got an email from NVC a few minutes ago stating they received my documents on Sept. 18th & that it will take 60days for them to review them. But the date of the letter is Sept. 19th. So which one is the "Scan Date"?

The waiting begins.....now.... :clock:

Congrats!! :dancing: :dancing:

You should try calling, remember not always does the status change to "N/A" in the CEAC Website. GOOD LUCK!!

They said they received your documents on September 18, so that's your scan date and September 19 is when they sent the letter.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.

4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.

Case Complete!

I just called NVC and even though they said they had received my last package with scan date of Sept 18, they just told me my case was closed and in line for scheduling interview, that means my AoS checklist July 29 was accepted, that only left my birth certificate to be presented at the day of the interview, and they're sending back the birth certificate my family sent from the US.

Congratulations.

Hey guys,

Filling out my i-864 and Im not sure whether to leave areas blank that don't apply or put "N/A". There's a lot of empty areas should i just "N/A" all to be safe??

The last thing I want is a checklist after having to wait 60 days. What do you guys think?

Hi guys, My scan dates are AOS: 29-Jul-2014 , IV: 23-Aug-2014 and AOS (proof of same household for I864A): 3-Sept-2014

I called the NVC yesterday and they said my packets will be reviewed together on/before 3-Nov-2014 (60 days).

Is it true that they are no longer reviewing packets one by one (ie. according to the individual scan dates for each)? I'm just concerned that if i get a checklist, it would prolly be March before I get my interview date!!

This is the best post ever I have seen. Awesome. Congratulations

By your timeline, it is clear that they have already entered into August files. Your scan date is 8th August, right?

Just got off the phone with GUS at the NVC... oh Gus, sweet Gus... the NICEST rep I've ever talked to...

He was nice even before I gave him my case number...

but once he looked at my file, he became my favorite person in all of NVCdom...

Thanks so much :-)

August 8 was my IV scan date, but I'm thinking they may have reviewed them both based on the date of my AOS scan, 7/21. Either way, I'm just over the moon!!!
