To Azim,

I have the same scan date 9-2-2014 AOS Package received at NVC. On 9-4-2014 received the following:

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

Did you receive email like this?

Thanking you.

I don't understand why do NVC representatives always give contradicting Information. :ranting: When I was about to send my IV package, I asked 3 different representatives and all asked me to send just one PCC from local passport office. When further I mentioned that their website asks one from local/district police as well, one rep came up with an answer, "the website is not updated". I don't trust NVC representative but still I am on safer side because my passport was re- issued recently (added my spouse name to get PCC which is mandatory according to PSKs in Punjab.) So my police verification was done recently, apparently I din't need another police verification because it was already done at the time of reissue of my passport under tatkal scheme. So good thing was, my PCC was issued in a day. :dancing:

I did the same ...Sent only PCC from Passport office...If you look at the following link they are pretty clear about India

Per USPS, my AOS & IV Package was delivered to NVC today, sept 18th ! How long is it taking nowadays for NVC to scan both packages?

Also when I call NVC what verbage do I use to get the scan date for each package? I remember reading somewhere here that NVC agents dont understand when they get asked about scan date. Thoughts/ suggestions plz?

You should get an email from NVC regarding reciept of your documents where they will mention date they recieve your docs...thats your scan date

Its taking around 50-60 days to review packages

I just got off the phone with a Supervisor review. She was very helpful and took great care of me. I am very happy this morning CASE COMPLETE! It is not showing NA on the payment page yet, and I dont have the email yet, but she cleared the checklist after reviewing the Police Record. She had to modify the checklist in the system and marked it complete while I was on the phone with her. She said they will try to schedule my wife's interview for November (haven't started scheduling yet for Bogota).

Good morning everyone, it truly is a good morning for me! :)

Great news! I'm so happy for ya! :star:

I was hoping you didn't have to go through what you went through at the USCIS stage (RFE).

Come to the Interview thread! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/512497-october-2014-interviews/

Congratulations, looks like all case completes from now on will have November interviews.

Yep, NVC has finished scheduling Oct interviews. :bonk:

So the earliest interview you can get is in early Nov unless you contact the embassy/consulate and get an earlier interview date.

APPROVED!!!!!

Had my interview this morning in Montreal! Everything went smoothly and my CO was really nice and friendly and wasn't too hard to convince of our domicile requirement (I was worried about it since we're both self employed so I couldn't provide a job offer or anything for hubby).

Thank goodness there's a coffee machine in the waiting area, since I flew from Vancouver yesterday so the 8:30 am interview felt like 5:30am!

Congrats, Julia! I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo happy to hear that your interview went well!

Enjoy your time in Montreal! Contact me when you're back in Vancouver! :star:

We'll have coffee to celebrate your good news (and my CC)! :)

Hello all, Thank for all the great information in this thread and the Wiki set up I really appreciate it.

So this is the first month at NVC for our case and I just got the invoice email to pay the $325 for the Visa App processing Fee but when I log in only the $88 shows as paid and there is no option to select the Visa App fee it is just blank underneath the AOS fee. Should I just wait a few days till it appears?

Thanks again for all the help, God bless you all and I hope all of our cases get done soon

I received Case # & IIN on 9/17, submitted DS-261 9/18, AOS fee is not available yet. However, I have seen at least two people who were able to pay AOS fee day after DS-261 was submitted.
