Sounds like a false checklist to me. It may be an indicator that your AOS has been accepted.

I got that same checklist... However haven't had a chance to call about it... I'm also assuming it's a false checklist.. They received my IV packet on August 7..

The checklist was a reminder for the next docs due to be reviewed. My AOS checklist from 7/22 was reviewed recently and now AOS packet is accepted.

Thank you y'all for responding.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS QUESTION!!!!!!! ME AND MY WIFE ARE WAITTING FOR OUR CASE TO GET COMPLETE OUR LAST SCAN IS ON AUGUST 27... SHE IS TIRED OF HER JOB SO SHE IS PLANNING TO RESIGN AT THE END OF THIS MONTH. DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT IF SHE DOESNT HAVE A JOB AT THE TIME OF THE INTERVIEW THIS WILL AFFECTED HER...

PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR ADVICE

Is she resigning and moving on to another job? Or resigning first then looking for another job? Definetly wouldnt't recommend the latter option nowadays. As long as there is proof she is earning sufficient income (paystub/w2/employment offer letter) you should be ok.

She is resining because she is tired of her job, and also because she wants to spend some time with her family before she comes to US. Plus she will need time for medical test and interview. And at her job is really hard to get time off.. if she resign at the end of this month she still have to work until the beginning of November.. She can prove that with that money that I send her she can do ok...

So I'm guessing you're sponsoring her in the I864/EZ form right. You're using your income? You should be fine then

Got a CC on Sept 16th. Also attached is a checklist but to be brought at the interview. Apparently gross income on the AOS joint sponsor's i864 doesn't match whats on the IRS form. So They said correct it and bring it to the CO to check at interview. All the same i am so relieved YAY!!!!! case complete. By the way, that was our second checklist. Anyway shaaa, we are waiting for interview date. Thanks God oooo Best of luck to everyone. Vj fam, u guys are the best! SCAN date was July 25th

Case Complete!

I just called NVC and even though they said they had received my last package with scan date of Sept 18, they just told me my case was closed and in line for scheduling interview, that means my AoS checklist July 29 was accepted, that only left my birth certificate to be presented at the day of the interview, and they're sending back the birth certificate my family sent from the US.
