That's one of the good things about having an attorney you get both AOS and IV bill together. Pay it as soon as you can print the cover sheet for both packages and send them in. I have an attorney and that's what we did, still waiting for a cc from NVC scan date is 8/8

Hello,

I just checked my CEAC page, and saw the AoS fee changed to N/A, I had a checklist of the AoS with scan date of July 29, but the issue here is I got checklisted because of my birth certificate this Sept 12 (Submitted a photocopy instead the certified/original), could this mean that they accepted my AoS and they are scheduling the interview? Because I can present my certificate here.

This is very puzzling indeed. I'm yet to see NVC accept a photo copy instead of the required original BC (except for EP filers). Still, a change to N/A has never failed yet to indicate a CC !!!

Did you apply for an expedite?

21-MAR-2014 I-140 + PP sent to USCIS

31-MAR-2014 Petition approved

16-APR-2014 Case shipped to NVC

29-APR-2014 Case received by NVC

23-MAY-2014 Case # assigned

4-JUN-2014 IV Bill invoiced and PAID (AOS Exempt, DS-261 Waived)

6-JUN-2014 DS-260 forms submitted

10-JUN-2014 IV Docs received by NVC

13-JUN-2014 IV Docs matched to case (scanned)

30-JUL-2014 Case Complete, CC email auto-sent one week later

20-AUG-2014 AOS fee changed to N/A (Final clearance for interview scheduling?)

29-AUG-2014 Consular Interview scheduled on Oct 1st. Later rescheduled to Sep 24th. P4 Letter received following business day

14-SEP-2014 CEAC status changed to Ready

Yes I responded to the checklist right away, It was only a single document.

Yes, I got two checklists, one of AoS and the scan date is July 29, and Sept 12 another one concerning IV docs. (Don't have the scan date for the last one)

But my AoS fee got to N/A, could this mean that my case is ready for interview? I know how NVC works, I was expecting case complete on november, but NVC can be unpredictable some times, guess the only way to find out is calling...

Yes you need to call... most likely you have CC. They probably reviewed your two packages together. Timing worked in your favor here...
