How do we find out if a package (e.g. AOS) has been accepted?

You need to call NVC and ask. Some people get emails but that doesn't seem to be a reliable way of finding out. Best thing is to call NVC at 603-334-0700.

Congrats!! Did you find out by calling? I have called and they haven't even received my case yet :cry:

Both I-130/I-129F were approved on 8/18/14 at Nebraska as well. Still waiting. :clock:

Hi thanks for wells, I did not call them, I checked my email and found it. I pray for u too. We r almost day birds.

Believe today or tomorrow u will have a gooooood news. U can call if u want too.One thing I could not understand on ur data/ info. U have a date 09/17/14 that is true or a mistake or a wish? If this was a wish, it will become true!!!

I find out what was the problem with the checklist, thank God I find the problem and prevent me another checklist. I just find that my joins sponsor mad eonly $4,000 so not qualified to be a joint sponsor. NOW I AM DIGGING THROUGH MY PHONE TO GET ME A SPONSOR ASAP.

September 16, 2014 - [AOS Checklist received] - I had to find a new sponsor who meet income requirement.

September 19, 2014 - sent expedite request again with doctor's note....

September 22, 2014 - receive email that expedite is under review.

September 23, 2014 - Checklist sent to NVC

September 25, 2014 - Expedite request approced

September 31, 3013 - Case shipped to NVC / IN transit

October 10, 2014 - Case Ready

October 14, 2014 - Picked up Packet 4 from embassy

October 15, 2014 - Medicals

October 28, 2014 - Interview - APPROVED

I couldn't edit my last post to you but I just called and got my case # & IIN!!! I am SOOOOOOO happy!!! They said the case was being input into the system just now so if I am not mistaken, case received today 9/17/14 and case # & IIN assigned same day. YAY! :dancing:

I just saw when others congratulating u that u called and got the NVC IIN .

Woooo!!!! Congratulations.....A big of my heart wish is that every one us who was approved up to 08/18/14 by USCIS,should get a good news from NVC...today!!!!!! u got it too. I know u r excited to start on the next step ...me too. Good lucks....!!

Let's pray for all filers to get approvals for all of their steps and soon we all will be united with our love ones 4ever!

Started dating (online) June 2007

Met November 2007

Engaged August 2008

IV fees invoiced and paid today, going to send off my packages this weekend and then the countdown begins

Did you do anything special to get the IV fees? I submitted mine on 11 August and still waiting.

Just wait for the email saying it's available I believe. I think it takes a couple days for the email to be generated, so you might find out by calling if it's been accepted or not, but it won't necessarily be available to be paid.

Yes, as of Sept. 12, 2014 they have raised both the AOS & IV fees. The IV fee is now $325.00 dlls.
