So my wife finally had her interview and she has submitted a SG police clearance, NBI, AND a certificate of no marriage prior to me. Waiting on those docs sent to the manila embassy. Just wondering if any of you can answer and shed some light on how long before they issue her a visa? She has already passed her interview! A simple question of how long now?

Yep, called two weeks ago and they said it was past due, put it in for supervisor review. Called again last week, yep, it's past due, sure it'll be soon.

j/k about resubmitting it, just getting a laugh.

:) Oh, good, thanks for the laugh, Tim

All kidding aside, I really hope things start moving along for you...

Thanks Crisarria. we can hope for the best. So did you email the changes for your checklist? And if yes, then did you get a confirmation email from them? I am curious to find out if they ever reply back to confirm if they have received a checklist document and give you the new scan date?

Yes i agree with you Austin. especially the checklist I got for. My lawyer FORGOT to fill in item 10. He didn't enter the number. I cannot even blame NVC. I am so angry and frustrated. I called NVC and everything else from the IV packet is fine. Everything else. It took us 30 seconds to fix the problem. I should have checked my lawyer work. I was stupid. Oh well.

Yes it will be another 60 days for something so inane. Oh well.

Yes it was ArthurMArcela. I remember now. Thanks. I have given up hope that it will be rectified that easily in 7-10 days.

Life truly sucks right now for me. I have to wait till Nov 9 for 60 calendar days, which means that I will not be in USA at least until end of december or january. Two whole months.

I wish you get your paperwork approved and i know it will.

Dont worry if it helps I am as frustrated as you. I am right behind you in sending our checklist docs lets stay positive maybe it wil be 7-10 days like ArthurandMarcela we could dream big!!????

I have some news for recently approved people. I called nvc today to ask about the fees and What I found out is that it still takes up to 60days for IV bill to be invoiced and after paying the fees one has to submit the ds260 and send both packages in one package..

so still it is going to take a lot of time. I just hope they will speed up with reviewing the ds261.

Yup, still lurking! ;) It wasn't me who made that comment about December though. Possibly it was dwheels, as she keeps much closer track of interview scheduling than probably anyone on the site. She might have some past examples to show that would be the case, but I've seen her state a few times that the two round scheduling system is new to this year, so I'm not sure.

I got the IV invoice about a month after AOS invoice. You don't have to send both in one package at all. You can first pay for AOS and send out the AOS package and get that over with.

For those with lawyers, I heard they submit both at the same time though.

I have a question in that does it take 60 days from the time we fill out DS-260 online for that IV ####### to be over with or is it after they receive the IV packet with documents in it? I just paid the IV fees and going to finish off the DS-260 but I am going to have sit on it for about 10-12 days before I can send out the documents since I am waiting on it from abroad.

Don't mean to be splitting hairs here but just wanted to see if I would be losing that 10-12 days or not. Not that it matters since I have almost a year anyways.

Thanks for your feedback.

with new rules I do have to.

"After you collect your Affidavit of Support form(s) and financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of the documents in ONE package to the NVC. Your case may be significantly delayed if you fail to submit all of your documents in one package." http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents.html
