Umm ur packages haven't been reviewed yet? Now just pray that they forward ur packages to the embassy. I have heard they don't forward unreveiwed ones and u might have to get both packages arranged from the start.

Yes, still awaiting for reviews. Aug 6 for my AOS and Sept 10 for IV package..

I just can't believe you still have to wait 60 days till your packages get reviewed even if your case was expedited..

i just don't get it...

Is there a reason why IV is taking so long to be billed? Does anyone know????


A few minutes ago, Ive received NVC letter stating the insidious and famous 60 days, once they received my IV package on Sep 11th. Yesterday I called them and the rep didnt even knew the scan date for my IV package. It didnt appear in the system.

Im glad i decided to send the IV package before the fee is invoiced. I am stil waiting for it to become available on ceac website. They reviewed and accepted my DS-261 on Sep 12th......

Did you use your AOS barcode cover sheet for your iv??

I dont know the reason why it is taking so long. I guess, it is the backog they have.

And yes, I used the AOS bar-coded cover sheet.

In add, I used Saylin´s IV package sample cover letter (I attach it), specifying to add my civil documents to my file.

I was afraid of NVC to misplace it. Finally they didnt.

I have a scanned date of 7/8 for my AOS pkt. i called NVC and they accepted it.

so i am just waiting for my IV pkt which was scanned on 8/8, i am just ready to get this over with.

just praying my honey is home before Christmas!!

Congrats! :dance: I believe NVC schedules interviews at the end of the month (25th - 30th). :star:

It's the interview thread for Oct, but NVC is no longer scheduling Oct interviews, unfortunately. I'm sure they'll create a Nov interview thread soon. :whistle:

Today is calendar day 57 since we submitted our DS261 and we still don't have an IV invoice. Should we click on the DS261 and resubmit it??

Hi Nordic Tim -- have you called NVC? We submitted our DS261 on 07/16 and I called last week (09/10). Spoke to Joy who said our DS261 should have already been reviewed and put it in for a supervisor review. We got our IV fee invoice email on Friday (09/12) and were able to pay online yesterday.

I would advise against resubmitting your DS261 and would advise calling NVC instead.

Yep, called two weeks ago and they said it was past due, put it in for supervisor review. Called again last week, yep, it's past due, sure it'll be soon.

j/k about resubmitting it, just getting a laugh.
