Finally received our IV fee invoice email on Saturday (submitted the DS-261 on 07/16). Can't pay the fee yet online, but hoping it will become available today.

Thank you for posting this. I thought I was the only one with a middle of July DS-261 date still waiting for their IV fee invoice. You've given me hope!

How did you send out your IV package before you paid your IV fee though? I thought you needed a IV cover page just like for the AOS package.

Glad I've given you hope! I thought we were the only ones left!

I called NVC last Wednesday and spoke to Joy. She said she would put my case in for a supervisor review and that my fee should be invoiced within the week. She also said that I could send my IV documents using the AOS cover sheet, so that's what we did.

Hang in there! Call NVC this week if you aren't invoiced.

Was just able to pay my IV fee online. Of course, it's at the higher rate of $325 even though the invoice I received on Saturday said $230. Gotta love NVC!

Now just waiting to complete the DS-260...

That is what I was afraiding too. My DS-261 was reviewed as of Sept 12th. Im waiting for the email and the fees to be unlocked!!

Yes, I think everyone from this point forward will be paying the higher fee, unfortunately.

Hi! Question: you mention a police certificate from Argentina... there's no "original" of this document though, is there? It's just a digitally signed PDF file that you can download from the DNR website? Just trying to make sure for when I send it.t

Correct. My husband downloaded the police certificate from the website, but then had to take it to the Argentine Embassy to get it certified (he lives in Panama now). Make sure you get it certified!

Today I got my PCC from Passport office in India. My passport was issued before marriage so it doesn't have my husband's name. The PCC I got does not have my husband's name either and it reads, Ms (my name) daughter of (my father's name)_____________. It doesn't mention about my marital status though. Earlier they included spouse's name if the applicant showed them the valid marriage certificate. I also submitted marriage certificate but now they changed the rules, I think.

Will there be any problem for that?

Yes, the same thing happened to me -- my invoice said $230, but the website had me pay $325. Apparently the fees increased as of 09/12/14.

Not a problem i think.Mine is same & we din get any checklist.U may consult with an immigrant expert

i am confused, a lot of folks here are saying i (we) will get checklist for not sending photocopy along with original for IV Documents, I called NVC this morning the operator is saying, so long as the originals IV Docs were sent in, copies are not needed, granted alot of operator are clueless of what is needed, im getting really confused here

I will keep calling NVC in hopes of talking with atleast 4 different operator to see if i will get same story for all of them to calm my fears.... its gonna be a long day calling NVC multiple times, stay tuned ....

I've never seen a checklist for failing to include photocopies. They're just a record of your documents for the government to keep in your case file after your originals/certified copies are given back at the interview. Ideally you'll have kept a photocopy of everything for your own records, so just bring them at your time of interview to swap out for your official docs.

Got my 60 day email. It said they received my documents September 12 th. November needs to hurry up!
