Pretty sure its the IV packet receipt/scan date.

Aren't supposed to be they'll be reviewing the IV packet with DS-260? If so, then they will review it from the date they received your DS-260. If they'll be reviewing it separately then DS-260 would be the last thing. I guess either way the last scan date would depend on the DS-260.

Hello

In the photogrpahs to be sent with the IV Civil Docs we need to write the (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

What should we use to write these : Pencil or Black Pen

Thanks

Thanks a lot dilmera !!

You are welcome. I wrote with a pen but if you are going to do the same make sure the photo paper is not thin enough that the ink is visible on the other side.

Can I go back and just view (not edit ) form DS-260 without having an issue (like clicking on form ds260 resets the date). We have successfully submitted it with confirmation no, but I just wanted to check some information on it, though I know I wont be able to change anything now but just wanted to make sure if I put it correctly or not. So can I view it? Has anybody tried?

I have not read of any problem with opening the DS260 again, so I guess you may go back and open it again and print out the form as you submitted it so that you can refer what you wrote without having to open it in the online portal.

If you have multiple cases joined at NVC, then you'll only have to pay ONE fee for all of them

just curious. How could you avoid paying for one of the cases? I thought it has to be paid separately for each separate case? no?

I have a similiar question. Is it possible to send two certfied copies of each document or does it have to be a certified copy and a Photocopy?

It has to be a certified copy and a photocopy as the photocopies will be retained.

Call NVC and ask 3-4 times with different reps whether you have to send another package with photocopies using IV barcode sheet or you can submit photocopies at your interview.

How long has it been taking for NVC to review packages lately? Is it true that it takes 60 days nowadays?

It is taking anywhere between 50 to 60 days.

If your package has not recieved by them yet, then you can call the courier service and tell them to cancel that package delivery and return them back to you. They will charge you some extra to do that. Then you can send them again along with the copies.

We did a mistake during filing I130 but when we realized that, we cancelled the package delivery by calling the courier service and they returned the package back.

That saved us from RFEs and waiting time.

can someone plz help me out, I have two case at NVC i paid only one of the AOS fee coz am the US citizen filling for two step-kids but the other one says not paid still. should i pay the other one or will it be shown paid after they review the cases. and alsoi wanna send the packages out but now i have no cover page for the second applicant

There is no other way around to it, you can choose to send the one whose fee is paid or wait until the second fee shows as paid and print the barcode sheet and send both together with their respective barcode sheets. Barcode sheets are unique to each case.

Sorry about that, if both your cases are joined, you only need to pay one AOS fee for both. Please call NVC and clarify what barcode sheet you need for the other case.

I sent the IV package and forgot to make copies of the originals :( and didn't include any copies in the package just the originals. Is this gna be a checklist? Has anyone gotten check listed for this before?

Umm I m sorry hamo but how can u send originals without ANY record with urself! I don't think they would give u a checklist for photocopies but in the interview they would definitely ask u to provide them with photocopies in order to give u the originals back. So now ur only hope is that let u slip at the interview for 10 minutes and then give them the copies back. But I still think u should call Nvc and confirm ur situation. Best of luck.
