Hello Everyone

Need some urgent help !! Thanks

I had sent my AOS docs mid August

1) .I just realised that I have put the incomes wrong in the I-864 EZ . My tax reciepts say I filled up form 1040 but I wrote Adjusted Gross Income instead of Total Income.

2) Also I signed on the form with Blue Ink.

Should I send the whole package again to NVC again with all docs or Should I wait and hope I am not checklisted.....how much probable I am to be checklsted for the point 1income goof up

thanks

Just spoke to NVC and they informed me to send the whole packet again asap.

Hello

Regarding the Question of Household size if I am sponsoring for my spouse :

a) Yourself and the person you are sponsoring on this form : 2

b) Your spouse : Should I leave this empty OR 0 OR N/A (As I have counted her above)

Should I leave the column for Your spouse empty or put 0 or N/A here.

Please advice

Thanks

I left it blank and they accepted it.

The highlighted picture of the checklist you showed in an earlier post actually says:

"Please complete/print your form in black ink."

It does not specifically mention the signature. Was everything other than the signature in black ink on the I-864 you sent in?

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Sorry to hear that. How did you know avout the checklist did you call them? what was ur mistake?

This is absolutely BULLSHIT. I just called back and talked with Olivia and she said they reviewed my DS-260 and civil documents on 29th august. My first checklist is for 1st august. I DO NOT HAVE A SECOND CHECKLIST!!!!! I was so upset and asked her how is possible to get 2 different answers in the same day. And she was blunt at me saying the first person who told me that probably made a mistake. A MISTAKE?! I was almost near to a heart attack for such an "honest" mistake. OMG I am so mad.

I know sometimes we are frustrating as this process is frustrating, but I would really suggest that we all try to stay clear of the profanity on this page which is in other words showing that we are not there only for each other but respect each other. That is why when ever I need CORRECT information, I ask to go straight to a supervisor (Except for the one name Michael). This morning I called, some little brat name Sarah told me all confidently grinning your IV Package IS BEING REVIEWED, I asked her what does that mean? She asked me what do you think it means? Keep in mind my AOS was sent on July 25 and IV was sent Aug 11, they have not even touch AOS yet. I also asked her about the Police Certificate for Haiti and she said, they are going to review your package. I said in my head "stupid" do they need the certificate or nor from me because I did not send it. She still did not respond my question - so I asked for a supervisor - Guess who I spoke with, the wonderful Betsy! And she said - no you don't need it and also no your package is not being reviewed - it is waiting its turn in line.

Yeah, it sounds like a false checklist was generated when they accepted your IV. The good news is your IV is accepted which puts you one step closer to a case complete!

Edit: Removed question about scan date. Saw your scan date is July 8th in a previous post. :)

I'm rooting for all of us for speedy review times, but for sure if you have a package with a scan date of July 25, it is not being reviewed yet. The agents definitely just parrot "60 days" and "under review," and neither phrase has any meaning with regards to the actual timelines. Saylin's spreadsheet is a godsend in that regard.

I'm glad you got some clarification from the supervisor.

I got a couple of checklists on the Affadavit of Support form too, and I read it and re-read it before filling it out. If the NVC is getting so many forms submitted with the wrong information, obviously the directions on the form need a bit of re-tooling.

You'd think they'd make the form easier to understand to save time.
