I have a question:

I received an eMail saying I can log into the portal and pay the $ 230 IV Fee but when I do, it's showing N/A I click takes me to the fee page and there's noting there to click on like how it was for the AOS fee. How long it typically takes for the system to make it available I got the eMail around 11 AM on 09/11/2014.

I received an email at 130 pm on 9/11/2014 and I have not been able to pay yet either.

Sent my IV packet yesterday overnight so it should get there today at 11am. Let the waiting begin!

Got the 60 days email again. Have to count from august 19 when we got the checklist... 16 months and still counting

This checklist if for the IV for our marriage certificate . I got the email few hours ago ... Hubby called yesterday n he was told this is the last thing before sending everything to Amman consulate (DUH) but unfortuntliy it's going to take 60 days for them to approve the bloody marriage certificate which we did send but not the Arabic one thought anyway let's hope they pick things up so we all can forget about this nightmare !

Here's a question that i'm not sure matters...

So I'm planning on filling out the DS-260 for my husband because although he speaks almost fluent english his reading comprehension isn't great and his spelling and grammar are not the best either! I know this is ok (because of Saylin's wiki!!) but my question is this...

When logging onto fill it out do I log on and say I'm the applicant or the petitioner (like I normally do?)

I got the email on Wednesday at 4pm. It was available to pay four hours later. (I was checking once an hour so I know...haha). There is no specific rule except for "soon." Now is the best time to be an obsessive checker. Remarkably, I paid at 8:30 pm on Wednesday and it already showed up as paid the next day (Thursday), unlocking DS 260 immediately when it showed paid.

They reviewed my AOS and checklist I got is below. Since I already sent my civil docs, this must be a false check list that I can ignore?

Arg. So things were going well this week (as well as can be expected in NVC hell) until yesterday. Our IV fee was invoiced, unlocked and paid on Wednesday (9/10) and DS 260 (mostly) completed on Thursday (9/11) (Husband is going to proofread it today). I had the IV packet ready to send, but I was just waiting on my husband to send me his birth certificate and police records from Argentina and Panama. He shipped them to me on Monday from Panama through DHL, and the package arrived yesterday. PERFECT timing--one day after I could could print the IV cover sheet.

Well, yesterday was also my birthday so he decided to include six packages of Panamanian coffee (my favorite). When I opened the packet, all of the coffee was in there but NO DOCUMENTS. The outside of the package has that wonderful sticker that says "Opened and inspected by U.S. Customs." So I'm fuming because I'm pretty sure ICE lost all of these original documents that took months and hundreds of dollars to complete. I've called DHL and they initiated a trace, but I'm not optimistic.

I'm not sure what you are asking.. the date I got this (false) checklist is sep 11. This is my first checklist I received.

Hi all,

I'm back after a lengthy time out from here waiting on a response from NVC regarding the checklist I received in July. Well I finally heard from them and guess what?????? Another check list!!!! They are saying that part 6, section 13.a.1 does not match the total (gross) income on my co-sponsors I=864 form and that they require a copy of her birth certificate as well. They could have easily mentioned this in the first check list they sent, since everything was sent together to them at the same time and I'd probably be receiving a case completed and awaiting for my interview date instead of this. Very frustrating.

Hi sorry if I may ask what was your first checklist for. Also did you request if possible to take corrections on 2nd checklist to Embassy instead?

I received the mail about IV payment yesterday, and it is in voice now. My question is don't we have to pay more then $230? Few weeks ago there was a topic on the fee hick. Don't understand, pls someone help.
