Oooo I haven't thought of that! I wonder if I can get my husband to call and see if he can get them to open the fees up! I called up today asking about a different subject and Mario said that it should be opened *around* 15 days after the DS-261 is submitted. I love the appropriate usage of words!

15 days he said ? wow , I hope so! that is much better than the 60 days I heard when I asked about it.

sooo If I don't get invoice till the end of next week I am going to make my husband to call them and see if they can unlock it.

P.S. is the CEAC website down or is it just me?

I received a checklist for no PCC for UAE and it has set us back up to "60" days! My error was going by what the UAE embassy website said over what the reciprocity page for UAE said. When I called, I tried to get them to let me bring it to the interview but they wouldn't have it, so it was scanned in on 15 Aug and we are still waiting for case complete. Hope this helps....

Thanks for your answer, and I have some idea what to do, I still try to have PCCs ASAP but I prefer NVC closed my case and schedule for my interview, anyway I am waiting for no checklist next month after 60 days waiting.

Yes. 15 days. Let's hope I will be able to countdown as well - however, remember he said *around* which for the NVC could mean the next day or an additional 30

P.S. still not able to access the site - weird. Need to check some other computers around the house and phones. Crazy that we'd be hopeful that they are fixing something to make it work easier.

we applied in Nov 2013 for I130, got approved in may 2014 ( exactly 6 months). got a case number and IIN number assigned in late june and sent the AOS and IV package at the same time on july 10. Got my checklist on Sept 8 only on AOS package. IV package (including 4 PCCs all accepted). Now waiting to hear on the checklist (hopefully by Nov 10). And if i am really really lucky I will be back in USA before xmas holidays or somewhere in the new year-- hopefully january. Target date was November 2014, hence the screen name.

Can someone tell me if the bebeficiary will receive email on the IV invoice too, as it was given too in the ds261?

My wife and I both get emails about any notices from the NVC. Even though I was told by an NVC operator only my wife (beneficiary) would receive them.

Hello everyone,

I decided to join the group at NVC to wait for the case complete. By the chance I have a question, did anyone complete without sending PPCs and will have them on the interview day.

I needed a PCC for Singapore. It was the only thing I needed and asked NVC if I could take it to the interview but they have made me send it to them. Hence why I am still waiting for a CC. It is worth calling them though and asking as I have see some people allowed to do this.

Q: Have you ever been refused a u.s visa, been refused admission to the united states, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?

Thanks lot for your suggestion, I didn't call them yet because I am afraid of they said " No, we need PPCs before to schedule your interview" . ohhh, anyway I think of calling them to see what I can do.
