I got approved!!! yayyy.. after 4 hours of that weird update notice I got another email and text saying our case was approved..checked status on USCIS also says approved " post decision activity"..I am soooo happy..Ah this feeling after that long wait is soo heavenly... May God answer all you rest of the filers ( nsh, melow, cloud9gt) prayers and approve you all, amen!

I am frustrated just as everyone else is. It sad that I am more angry at those people who are getting fast approvals rather then happy but it is just not fair especially when they rub it in our faces

I just checked the USCIS site for my status and this is what it read....

Post Decision Activity

On October 28, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I-129F Sent : 2014-08-19

I-129F NOA1: 2014-08-26 Never received the hard copy...

I-129F NOA2: 2014-10-27 As of USCIS website status... 2014-10-28 As of Hard Copy in the mail...

how long will it take to get the notice in the mail? or for the email? i havent received the email yet....

You have to sign up for email notices separately, but they don't really matter now that you've been approved. Congrats to you and nusshaf14! Onwards to the next phase.

01/13/2017 Infopass:  -- "You probably have nothing to worry about. Your case is in Arizona. Previous SR wrongly responded, new SR to the right office."

01/17/17 InfoPass SR: -- "Pending. We expect decision or other notice in 45 days." Congresswoman's office confirms RFE response has been received.

01/27/17  GC Approved (amid Tr$mp EO chaos)

02/03/17 Card in hand (445 days, non-complicated case (no previous visas, no overstay, no divorces, not high fraud country, no co-sponsor. Just unlucky.))

but we have gotten an email about our NOA1 before but no hard copy...wonder if we'll get an email and (hopefully) a hardcopy of the NOA2....
