It's hard not to take it personally. This approval thing is like a lottery. Applicants with fiance(e)s in certain countries get a fast track. Some others are lucky and seem to slip through earlier. Th

I am frustrated just as everyone else is. It sad that I am more angry at those people who are getting fast approvals rather then happy but it is just not fair especially when they rub it in our faces

Yes. Generallisimo Francisco Franco is still dead! In other news, USCIS did NOT process our petitions today.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

hows everything coming along guys?

we tried calling NVC to see if they have received out approved petition and it was so hard to get through...it was always busy.

are there any other ways around it? should we also try to call the US embassy in manila?

it's been over 3 weeks since our NOA2.

I-129F NOA1: 2014-08-26 Never received the hard copy...

I-129F NOA2: 2014-10-27 As of USCIS website status... 2014-10-28 As of Hard Copy in the mail...

I really don't think there is an alternative way to communicate with NVC. I tried like 20 times and finally got through. I have read that it is best to try very late in the day - they are open late. I got through in the early afternoon - but it must have been my lucky day. Also forget Mondays. When you get through, you will still have to wait. I put the speakerphone on and did other stuff while waiting. It was about 1 month after my NOA2 approval when I started calling and they had already processed all of my paperwork and had sent the documents on to the embassy the week before I called. So good luck and keep trying. Sorry I do not have a better answer.

08/14/14 Mailed I-129F

08/25/14 Email notification of NOA1 received; check cashed.

08/29/14 Received hard-copy NOA1 with notice date of August 22

10/15/14 Checked my case status on-line and was told that my approval was mailed out on Oct 15!

11/03/14 NVC received my case from USCIS (unsure of this date)

11/07/14 NVC assigned a case #, an invoice # and Beneficiary ID (unsure of exact date)

11/10/14 Package was sent to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico consulate (this date is known)

11/25/14 Received Package 3 (a letter) from Consulate dated Nov 19, 2014.

01/29/15 Interview in Ciudad Juarez - approved!!!

02/26/15 Entry into the US in San Ysidro by land

03/16/15 Marriage in San Diego

03/27/15 Filed applications for Adjustment of Status with Chicago lockbox

04/06/15 Received electronic notification that case was received

04/17/15 Received notification of biometrics apptmnt on May 1, 2015.

05/01/15 Biometrics taken

06/20/15 Received Authorization to Work / Advance Parole card

06/28/15 Status updated "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview"

09/22/15 Interview in Chula Vista, CA and received verbal approval.

06/27/17 I-751 package sent

07/05/17 NOA-1 received

08/25/18 Received Courtesy copy of 18 month extension letter

10/16/18 Notified that green card is being produced.

on the 19 TH NOV i check the CEAC and that what show

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. so i was waiting for mail from consulat in casablanca

but till now nothing

so i dont know what to do

hope anyone can advise me what to do

follow the new procedure and go pay fees and schedule appointement or wait package from consulat in casablanca ?

plus when i go online try to pay fees and schedule the the interview i see that message

that all K applicants should wait letter from consulat

I don't believe so. USCIS will talk to the petitioner or a legal representative. I could be wrong, but I don't think they will update your fiance.

Im getting ready to send the files and papers that my fiance needs for his interview for the manila embassy.

I just arrived in california last april and got a job last july. Will certificate of employment do along with my check stubs and bank statements? I dont have any w2 available since i just arrived here this year.

Incidentally... your service center is California, not Texas

Still have gotten nothing. No RFE, nothing.

I call there to put in a complaint stating that I am outside their normal processing time and they tell me I can't yet. Even though it has been over 5 months.

We have the same date for our NOA1 and are in TSC. They also tell us we're in the normal processing time, but they're running behind. I reminded them that you can't be "behind" normal, so you're just changing the dates to suit whatever whim you want. Basically, the Tier 2 rep agreed with that, but I still can't find anyone at USCIS who will actually put the normal processing time in writing.

It is whatever they claim it is. It's normal for them to take forever.
