birth certificate query - Kuwait

Hello VJ'ers

I won the DV -2015 lottery with a case number 2015AS00004XXX and expect to interview from Kuwait. The prep for the hard part has begun.

- Upon checking my birth certificate (which is in Arabic) , I observed that only FIRST NAME is mentioned in the 'Name of Child' field ( as opposed to FIRST NAME LAST NAME) .This is followed by Father's name and Mothers name - which is all fine and as per the passport.

I wonder if this would pose a problem as my name in the passport is the full name i.e. FIRST NAME LAST NAME.

While inquiring on this subject locally , I received mixed answers .Some claim that the Registrar of Births in Kuwait often input first name in the Child name field . Others claim they have managed to get both first name and last name .

I would appreciate if any of the forum members / previous winners have had experience on this subject.

- Also are there any forum members from Kuwait participating in DV-2015- would be great to hear from you all .

Thanks in Advance and keep up the great work!
