Greetings

My parents in law have had all their interview done in Islamabad, and all the necessary paperwork was complete. About a year later they called them to resend their passports. They sent their passports to the us embassy. Today they got a call that they need to fill out D 260 form and go for an interview again in Islamabad. What is this? I thought this was all completed as they just needed the visas issued on their passports. Please help. Thanks

Most likely is to have their oath and fingerprints taken.

Thank you for the replies. Thing is tjat they already had their fingerprints and oath taken in the last interview and then their case went into AP. The problem I think was my parents in law took their passports back instead of letting the immigration officers keep them. A year after the interview they asked for the passports, my guess was for the visas, but then they got a call for filling out the DS 260 forms and reappearing for the interview and fingerprints. It didn't make much sense to me
