Hi Guys! GOOD DAY!!!

We filed my AOS last May 16, 2014 and we received an RFE at the end of June. We already sent our RFE reply last August 2, 2014.
My question is did you have any idea guys how long are we going to wait to received my EAD & AP? By the way I had my biometric last June 23, 2014.

THANK YOU & GOD BLESS!

About 60-90 days from filing. However, with an RFE, processing could have stopped while you had the RFE pending, so you may need to add on some extra time because of that.

~ Moved from AOS from Family Based main forum to Progress Reports sub-forum - topic is case status ~

Once NVC receives the response to the RFE and when u call them about it they will tell you when exactly it is put in their system, then you count the "working" days (not including weekends or holidays) then that will be your date to start counting.Yes the process is on hold until they receive and open the RFE response. I got two RFE's and they took the full time to review the packages sent with responses. Sorry I understand the full frustration with this matter.

The NVC has nothing to do with this case.

Isn't it the National Benefits Center or one of your local centers (or a Service Center in some cases).

Yes, it would be either the NBC or the local USCIS office, if their file was sent there for an interview. Since this RFE was early in their process, I am thinking it was from the NBC in Missouri.
