READ & FOLLOW THE EMBASSY INSTRUCTIONS LETTER!

Copy of the confirmation page from scheduling your interview, copy of the confirmation page from the DS-160 and your deposit receipt from paying your visa fee. Plus everything else listed in the embassy instructions letter!

Follow the flashing arrow below, then click the link, once there click the tab for NVC-USEM Process, scroll about half way down, there is the link for the embassy instructions letter.

Also there are links to everything else to complete the process in Manila on that site.

I do read the link but I choose not to finish it because of some reason like when I read about paying the interview date, I would stop there because I'm not able to do it. So I don't finish the whole instruction.

I already read everything :) I'm in the process of scheduling my interview. Thank you. I just have a quick question, I can't finish filling up the form because it's asking for a priority date, where would I get that?

PRIORITY DATE = RECEIVED DATE on the NOA 1. (this is answered in the guide I link to (scheduling interview section) ... ;) see it is good to read it more than once)

Reality is the priority date is not used with the K-1 visa, so you could put any date in there... doesn't matter.

Ah ok.. Thank you again.. Last question.. We've found out that my fiancé made a mistake about my birthday. He saw it while looking at our noa1 letter. Instead of 10/07/1991 he put 09/07/1991..will it be a big problem in the future?

I doubt it will be an issue. Just make sure that everything is correct with the DS-160

Yes.. Everything is correct I'm sure.? can I ask you something.. For the nth time :) i read somewhere that I need a copy of nvc letter with my Manila number for my medical exam. But my fiancé hasn't received any letter. And according to rob, it's ok to show them the appointment confirmation. But it has no case number. What should I do?

You can do the interview with just the appointment confirmation email, if the guard gives you any heat politely state - the U.S. embassy website states I only need the NVC letter OR the appointment confirmation email, then just stand there ;) ... they will let you do the medical.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3218.html

What should I bring to my medical examination?

  • Appointment letter sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail confirmation from the Visa Information and Appointment Service.
  • Appropriate medical examination fee.
  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Three color pictures (2 inches x 2 inches) with a white background(two are for the visa and one is for the medical report).
