if he had gotten an email he would of told me since he gets notifications on his phone so i dont think that's the case. i hope ill get it in the mail next week!! ill be calling them monday too. its been like 10 days

Monday is Labor Day, a holiday, and probably they follow it; and everybody calling Monday and not getting anyone to pick up will be flooding on Tuesday. I'd wait to Wednesday.

Yes it is hard, and I have been following your journey; but all indications are that it's now a matter of weeks, possible 4-6 though.

Main thing is that you remain calm and go about your days.

As for delays and such; every consulate/embassy seems to have their own method of doing things.

Back when we did, it was quite transparent and simple; since then, it seems they have "improved". But the important thing is that you have a notification that is has left NVC and with the updates it would seem is getting worked at the Embassy

Well there's no labor day in Poland, and by calling I meant i am going to call the embassy in Warsaw and try to get thru to ask them if they received our petition yet.

We do have a notification in a form of letter then sent to my fiance and also on CEAC website it was "at nvc" and then "in transit" and then "ready". but yes! hopefully it goes smoothly and quickly. maybe i will receive the letter tomorrow! mail men work saturdays

Sorry to hear about your past delay but just be patient the more it updates the closer you are coming to actually being notified. Like others have said it could be a letter or it could be an email. All embassys are different. If you post in your regional forum or even check time lines similar to yours and message one of those people they could give you more concrete answers about Poland. But you will be there soon

The US embassies around the world observe US and local holidays so while there is not a Labor Day in Poland, the embassy is still closed because it is a US holiday.

I stand corrected. There is a Labor Day in Poland, and it's May 1st.

I am in the same situation and I am waiting 2 weeks since physical file arrived at the embassy. No way of reaching embassy by phone and no response to e-mails. Is there any way to contact someone in USA regarding this. NVC says they have no control, but what about if file was lost and embassy is unreachable. I have been checking timelines and people whos files arrived at the embassy already have their interviews schedules and packets 3 are being received within 4 days and here mine is not even posted Anyone has any suggestions on what to do?

i just received the letter from embassy in the mail today......and the date on that letter is august 22....and no way it would take this many days to get from one city to another, so hold ur breath because im sure they will let u know soon..
