Op should try and resolve the issue in while Ghana. I just came back from Ghana recently and plane ticket isn't cheap. My fiance is in Ghana and I get "cold feet" on some days but this is extreme. She knows quite well that the guy has quit his job! Getting a decent job in Ghana is no joke and not for the faint heart! This dude may have saved for his trip not for accommodation in a hotel. What if he comes and the girl switches off her phone?

Op, try talking to her and finding out the status of the relationship.

Try and contact the consulate in Accra to find out what you should do after you talk to her find out the fate of the relationship. Never quit your job or giving up any opportunity for someone unless you are "insured". Good luck

Wow!

Sounds like me and my hubby! We had issues too but he's here now and we're fine. His K1 visa was issued in Feb 2013 but he arrived in May 2013. I had doubts and we we're fighting as well. We were married in July 2013. Buy a roundtrip ticket, stay awhile and see what happens. Besides, you have 90 days from the time on entry. Step out on faith!! It's amazing what God will do!!!
