Hey everyone,

We're filling our I-129F tomorrow, and I just had a peak at this and panicked a bit:

http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=6&office=5&charttype=1

Basically, the queue has jumped up to the highest it's ever been in the past few months. This seems to coincide directly with all the VSC processing center's closing (diverting to TSC) - which seems like someone high up made a bad decision. It looks like TSC is going to be in a pretty bad situation for a while.

Fortunately I'm already living with my Fiancée here in Japan, so this isn't going to hurt our relationship, but this has a big impact on our plans.

Going to get in the queue as soon as possible.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

My friend, I am in the same boat with TSC and a june filer, I understand your concern, but they have recently transfered a ton of cases from TSC to CSC to make the processing faster, I would go ahead and file the visa, atleast you will know that it is being processed, if you think of it, how do u know that the processing times wont go up later on? I would recommend sending in your petition. and please dont go by VJ's time lines, although its pretty close to where you would end up with processing times, there can be discrepancies with the number of people actually updating their timelines. Good Luck on your journey

It's a crapshoot. As pmakhija said, TSC just transferred the majority of April/May files to CSC. Up until that point, us TSC filers thought we were screwed and it was going to take 6+ months. Now we have hope that it ill be within 5 months. A year ago TSC was processing cases super quickly and CSC was super slow. Now it is the opposite.

My only advice is start the process now but don't have any expectations time wise. If you plan for it to take several months, it will probably be quicker. If you plan for it to be just a few months, it will take at least several. Fun times!
