My half-brother just had his interview done last August 24, 2014 in US Embassy in Manila, but he was denied of an immigrant visa because they are requiring him to undergo a DNA testing from the petitioner, which is my father who is a LPR. I want to know if anybody here who can give an information about the process, where to do it, and the fees about this DNA testing. Thank you.

Sorry to read that Barorot. It is already difficul to get a visa denied for someone who's been waiting so long to reunite with his family but i find it cruel for an embassy to question if you are the biologic child of your father or not!!! I hope your brother gets through this ordeal and will soon join!

It really hurts having to wait for a long time and then be refused. I think the embassy will take the samples and have it done but I guess the beneficiary will be the one to pay the fees. The result of the DNA will be sent to the embassy. Your brother should be given a letter after the interview stating the next step of action or better still he can call or email the embassy for the next step.

You must use an AABB certified DNA collection company. You will contract with them. They will have you report to places where both samples can be collected ( usually the embassy for someone out of country ) you then wait until the results are in ( 3 months more of less ) Google Immigration DNA test

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Mine took 49 days. USE Manila - From interview to visa approval ( June 6 to July 25, 20012 ).

Your brother should not lose heart. DNA testing for children, particularly the ones without overwhelming evidence of tons of pictures with the parent etc, is quite common. Once the results are in and the PD is still current, a visa will be issued, provided there is no other ban or problem etc.
