Pat Robertson on Robin Williams: He Killed Himself Because He Worshipped False Gods

Pat Robertson is worth 200 million for putting on that very act of doing things like saying Robin Williams worshipped false Gods.

I don't know the numbers, but he represents millions of people, meaning just exactly that kind of talk is what they eat up and get their checkbooks out for. Amen brother Pat. It's going to be order of magnitude more than 10 million people that are just fine with Pat Robertson saying such a thing.

Just know there are that many ignorant sumabeaches in the world is depressing in itself.

Not all gods are false. Poseidon must have been real, for his temple still stands on Cape Sounion, and the same is true for most of the other Olympians whose temples' ruins still grace the Acropolis.

What an idiot. But aren't all gods false gods?

He killed himself because he no longer thought life worth living. It's his right to decide when to make an exit.

Putting Robin Williams in the mix and claiming that is why he killed himself is in absolutely no way accurate and in no way "speaking the truth", as you have described.

In the U.S. in general, money and fame is worshipped more and is considered more of an accomplishment than helping others,

Atheists don't worship. So you can't apply a religious word to them in order to frame them as bad people.

You can get rich by helping people - inventing computers, vaccines, light bulbs, etc. I disagree with the blanket condemnation of making money. As if the opposite were a good thing - being a burden on society.

by definition atheists don't believe in a god. There is nothing precluding them from worshiping money. Worship is not an exclusively religious word.

And most of the more rabid atheist I have conversed with, are as dogmatic in their religion as the Pentecostals.

lol.

Well sure - when you make up your own meaning to words instead of their actual definitions. By the same logic, the last poster is a Nazi skin head and the one before a pedophile.

Pat Robertson is attacking Robin Williams for "worshiping money"?

Sooooo... what exactly would Pat Robertson call this?

I doubt Williams had involvement with things on that level...

I am not sure what atheist might or might not worship, but they do have a religous belief in the non existance of God. Agnostics are more ambigous and non religious about the God thing. Splitting semantic hairs maybe, but I just cannot accept the explicity belief in Gods non existance as not a system of belief.

As a center point can I suggest we converge on the belief non existance of a moral compass in Pat Robertson in piling on the sales of his crapoganda CDs to folks at home based on the untimely loss of a good and decent man?

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I explicitly don't believe in bigfoot, is that a system of belief?

Why do you speak of God [sic] in the singular when there is undeniable evidence around the world of the existence of several gods? Wouldn't that make an atheist out of you, by your own definition?
