So is Pat Robertson "entertaining" in the way that Chick Tracts are entertaining?

well to me, because i'm out of the religion. pat robertson and chick tracts aren't so entertaining to those who take them seriously.

I whole hardheartedly agree and point out that hypocrtical old hate monger has a net worth over 200 million

excellent point.

Maybe if more people rung up the media and told them that the current output is an insult to the consumer they might take some notice. Until then, expect more of the same. News on tv? None, it's just entertainment, and it's not even entertaining.

He could have said it in another way, but the man is speaking the truth. In the U.S. in general, money and fame is worshipped more and is considered more of an accomplishment than helping others, having good family ties and healing. I am excluding his worshipping the right "God" comment.

Can you explain how you think he was speaking the truth about Robin Williams?

Underline where I said this is the truth about Robin Williams I said for the U.S. in general fame and money is worshiped.

Okay, but that doesn't have anything to do with Robin Williams. Are you just saying you agree with him but not in Robin Williams' case?

I am saying he can voice his opinion about people worshiping fame and money in a better way

Robin Williams killed himself because he was a depressive personality and had long running problems with drugs and alcohol. These aren't problems that solely affect the rich and it does a disservice to Williams and anyone who has experienced depression to somehow make out that this suicide stems from a love of money and fame.

We are a money worshiping society. Sorry you do not agree. Just because he is talking about Robin Williams in the mix does not mean that people in the U.S. do not worship things that are not worthy or praise.

Pat Robertson is worth 200 million for putting on that very act of doing things like saying Robin Williams worshipped false Gods.

I don't know the numbers, but he represents millions of people, meaning just exactly that kind of talk is what they eat up and get their checkbooks out for. Amen brother Pat. It's going to be order of magnitude more than 10 million people that are just fine with Pat Robertson saying such a thing.
