I know I can visit, but it is sooo nerve wracking!

I have booked my plane ticket before getting our NOA2, and we got approved yesterday!!

I don't know if visiting after NOA2 will make things more difficult.

Are the chances of getting denied entry higher if I visit after NOA2??????

I have all prepared:

- letter from my manager

- contract

- last pay stubs

- my car document

- email with updated status

- copy of NOA1

and also my sister will be travelling with me..the main purpose of the visit is vacation for 10 days.

any thoughts???

I don't think your chances of being denied entry are any higher after NOA2. I did the same thing myself and had no problems whatsoever (I came here in December 2013, a month before my interview, and stayed for 3 weeks). Make sure you bring a copy of your NOA2 as well, and the letter with the interview date, if you receive it before you travel. And of course, don't lie to the immigration officers. I came here to spend Xmas and NYE with my fiancé and his family, and that's what I told the guy at the Atlanta airport (and it wasn't a big deal).

Good luck and have a nice trip!

I just got back from spending the summer with my girl. I took so much paper work with me but never even got fully finger printed. Didn't get photographed either. I was there in May and at Christmas too so maybe they saw that I'd been and gone before... Either way, they will know the score when they scan your passport so don't lie to them. That's will just make them more suspicious. When asked why I was there I just said "to spend the summer with my girl and friends and family" he seemed happy and sent me on my way. POE was Newark this time but Washinton DC before that.

On a side note... Have a great time but... Be prepared for a crushing and awful hollow, empty feeling when you leave again...?
