Question regarding tax transcript

Hi,

I am gathering paperwork right now for the n-400 application. So I requested tax transcript 2011, 2012, and 2013. Funny is that IRS sent me the year of 2011 and 2013, but not 2012. They kept sending me the letter saying that they couldn't process my request for that year as I tried different ways to order it. They also told me to contact Identity Protection Specialized. I called that department so many times but there has been no answer. I've fed up with IRS because of the way they do their job. Long story short, I have a question. Can I include all the letters from the IRS as evidence to show USCIS that I've tried to request the tax transcript for 2012 and that it is not my fault? Thank you

I can't see USCIS accepting any letter like that as an excuse for not presenting tax transcripts. The IRS transcript site has been very buggy for me in the past few weeks. Have you tried ordering by phone or mail instead of through the website? Or if all else fails, go to your local office and ask for the printout.

Talk to someone on the Phone or goto the nearest IRS office in person.

Do you have any reason to think there maybe an issue with your 2012 returns?

Short answer - if they request your tax transcript, you need to include it otherwise include your tax return documents.
