I got my interview today Jun 11.

The interviewer was not bad. She yelled at me because she could not find my address before 2012 and my work information before 2012 (I was a student back then). She said she would reschedule another interview so I could bring the old addresses!!! I said I still remembered the addresses and I could write them down. After a while she gave me a piece of paper and asked me to write them down while interviewing me. Then she became nicer and calmer.

Anyway, I passed the interview. I remember she asked me to write down "Alaska is the largest state" and asked me to read a sentence.

I got asked about 6 questions about history and political things like

1. Who is the Chief of Justice?

2. What is Constitution?

3. How many members of Representatives?

4. How many years do we elect a representative?

I can't remember the rest...

Then she said she couldn't make a decision. I will have to wait in about 2 months. She said about the Oath ceremony and where I could get my SSN changed, etc.

I will update if I hear anything from them.

Good luck on your interviews!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that...

What's the info she needed to make her decision?

Does she need to confirm your old address?

Do you remember her name?

Anyway don't worry, I believe you'll be scheduled oath earlier than in two months!

Just a follow up question? Did you not write your previous employment or previous address where you lived on your application form? Wasnit incomplete. What led her to ask for this ? Nevertheless, no reason for her yelling. i think we just have to be prepared for anything, review our application and bring all supporting documents we have incase they ask. If you passed the test i dont see any reason at all for her not to be able to make a decision. Have faith. You did well, im sure you will receive your oath ceremony schedule anytime soon.

I don't know if it is appropriate or allowed to name the interviewer so I shouldn't disclose her name here. I moved a lot in the past 5 years so there were not enough space to write down everything. I thought I added another sheet for additional addresses but somehow she couldn't find it. I also had more than 3 jobs since 2012 (I had multiple internships) too. I think she wanted to review more or confirm the addresses.

I tried to sponsor my hubby last year when I was a PR, but after 2 interviews, we couldn't take any more leaves from work since we have just started working after graduation so we decided to cancel the case and wait until I get my citizenship. She did ask about the case but she didn't press any further. I hope it would not be difficult for me since I have good job and I have never violated anything.

I agree with you. You shouldn't disclose any personal info of IO here. I'm sorry to ask you that.

She was trying to do her job as effective as possible and maybe a little irritated by your complicated situation.

Anyway, just stay positive and keep image of the happy oath ceremony!

I'm trying to do this myself!!

My interview is on 6/15.

I've done my interview today, 6/15.

I was called 5min later than my appointment time.

IO was not very friendly type but he did job professionally.

He said I had problem with fingerprints, however, I expected this and brought a police clearance letter, which he filed. I'm glad I've prepared this!

After follow up checks and questions for the application, he told me that I was approved and would be scheduled an oath ceremony within two months, which I expect earlier than two months according to other people' s cases.

The civic tests were very easy.

He had a sheet of paper with ten questions, which were already in my file.

I think they have variety of combinations of the sheets..

But I believe any of these are super easy.

They don't want to us to fail and schedule another intervew, so don't worry about the test.

Just go over those 100 Qs and focus on whatever you're not sure about.

1. Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

2. What is the political party of the President?

3.Who is the Commander in Chief of the military?

4.What are two major political parties in the U.S.?

5.There were 13 original states. Name three.

6.Name one state that borders Mexico.

Overall time I spent for the interview was 40min.

Good luck on your interview!

My online status changed yesterday(6/17) to in line for oath schedule.

Does anyone know how long will it take to get a passport at the Los Angeles passport agency?
