receiving Green Card in the mail

Hi everyone,

My mom is now in the US on Immigrant Visa, and is waiting to receive her Green card. The immigration authorities at the airport had told her that she would receive it in the mail within 2 months. But, so far it has been 2 months and she didnt receive anything yet. My question is how I can follow up with this? What could be the reason? does anyone have similar experience?

Make an infopass appointment for your local office... they should be able to check the system and find out if the card has been issued....

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if I should take my mom there, or as the petitioner, I can go there by myself and ask my questions?

its your mum's greencard not yours so yes she has to be there or they will not even talk to you about it...
