Can anybody tell me how essential tax returns are for the AOS? I made a request to the IRS for my transcripts but I am overseas here in the Phiippines with my fiance. My permenant address where my returns are being sent would have been my brother's address but unfortunately he has suddenly gone AWOL and I have not been able to make contact with him. I was also not able to get an official statement from my bank with my current balance but I do have previous statements from before I left. I have everything else that I need including my W2's and letter from employer. I have no way for someone else to check my mail other than my brother. I will have a co-sponsor and she did provide everything including her tax returns, statement from bank etc. Please help. Thanks.
