Congrats to karladiaz90 and souad1986...I just seen the news in my email, and logged in to say I am so excited for you both. I can't imagine the relief and excitement you feel. I hope your special someone is in your arms soon.

I wish for everyone else that you hear something within the next day or the next week...some of you guys have shared that you have been waiting several months now. It will be awhile for me and my husband I guess...our 601 was received by USICS on March 14th this year.

Good luck to all and God bless :)

Thank you so much... this has been a life changing experience I'm sure for everyone else going through this as well...my 4 year old has been crying every night for her dad and that was the most depressing part of this is seeing her sadness...everything else has been hard as well...my husband was very frustrated he didn't want us to call today...the weird thing is I never told him about the case inquiry I sent because of his attitude lol...but yesterday I told him about it so we we called this afternoon and the person who helped us didn't give us an update I told him we would call after work he said no but I made him so we did. Once we were on the phone right before they asked for my case# (we were 3way on the phone) I clicked on my app and it said approved I couldn't speak because I immediately started crying. I gave them my case number knowing already that we were approved . They told us we were approved and there was silence. He could not believe it and I am in still I'm shock....everyone who is currently still waiting hang in there its hard but you have to push through it...I won't feel like this is over until I have him in my arms :)

I tried to submit inquiry on my case but got this instead.

"Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. Further information about recent processing times can be viewed on the uscis.gov webpage."

My received date is on Oct 5th, 2015 and its been more than 6 months already, I don't know anymore how long are they supposed to take to process these forms?

The USCIS processing times chart shows they are working on August 16. You are September therefore you are not yet beyond processing times. They are telling you it's too early to request an inquiry yet as you are still within processing times. It says that right on the inquiry page.

I looked at sending in an inquiry also but it says to give 60 days for an RFE answer so we just have to wait.

Thanks for your response, I did call USCIS and what I was told is that there is no time frame for I-601 so they process by date and currently still working on August 16, 2015 applications, so they can take as long as they have to get to mine there is no way of knowing when my application is going to get touch by someone there. I haven't received any RFE or anything since the receipt date, so they haven't done anything for more than 6 months on my application, what CS rep said is that my form hasn't been worked on at all and no way of knowing when. So depressing!
