Just saw the new updated chart by USCIS its says june 2.....very weired ..should be june 21 ...i guess have to wait another month.....now its taking 6 to 9 months!!

Just a heads up that might be useful to some of you. My I-601 was approved on September 8. I'm outside of the US but my son in Florida got the approval by mail yesterday, a few days behind because of

On june 24th it has been 14months exactly for the 601 and still nothing. the 212 is another 10 more days before it hits the 14month mark. Its so cruel and unfair to be punished like this due to a stup

hello people, I had my case approved November 17, but until last December 14, the Brazilian consulate had not contat me, I called her today and they said not receive the nvc informations yet, this is normal? are almost 30 days. :oops: just remember my receiv dat is june5

Does USCIS close for 2week for Christmas break ?

Most government agencies only close on the specific holiday unless that holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday in which case they will observe the holiday on Friday or Monday. Since Christmas and New Years fall on Friday this year, they will probably only close Friday and maybe stop work early on Christmas Eve and New Year's eve. They may also be working with reduced staff since many people take vacation during the holidays but there will still be people working on our documents. I work for city government and my mom was a federal employee for 20+ years so I am pretty confident that some people will be working everyday except the actual holidays.

A couple of years ago, I had to go to the Secretary of State's office in Sacramento to get my fiancée's divorce decree apostiled so we could begin the K1 process. I went on Christmas Eve and they were open for half a day that day.

November 2013 - Met online: Match.com
December 6 - 8, 2013 - Met in person for the first time in Mexico.
February 2014 - Filed for K1/K2 Visa
April 2014 - K1 Visa Approved
March 19, 2015 - Attended interview in Juarez. fiancée denied. Allowed to file for I-212 and 601 waivers
June 25, 2015 - 212 and 601 Waivers received at Phoenix lockbox and forwarded to Nebraska Service Center.
December 21, 2015 - Waivers Approved
December 28, 2015 - Instruction letter received. Request for passports and new medical.
February 1-3, 2016 - Trip to Juarez for new medical and submit passports to consulate.
February 5, 2016 - Medical documents and passports received at consulate.

February 12, 2016 - Passports with K1 Visa picked up from DHL in Tijuana.
February 22, 2016 - Entry into California through Otay Mesa POE without daughter who decided to stay in MX.
April 30, 2016 - Married!!!!

AOS, EAD, AP Process

June 1, 2016 - Mailed adjustment of status packet.
June 15, 2016 - NOA1 Received I-485, I-131, I-765
July 8, 2016 - Biometrics Appointment

November 21, 2016 - Received text that Interview has been Scheduled for 12/21/16

January 28, 2018 - File receipt and extension letter received.

August, 2020 file transferred to be adjudicated with N-400

August 3, 2021 ROC/ Naturalization Interview

It also said that the processing dates listed were as of October 31 so they are likely a little farther along than June 2. We are June 25 so I am hoping that is the case.

Our waiver receipt date was June 25. My fingers are crossed for all the June filers and everyone else who is waiting.

We just received an I601 approval for fiance visa. We filed on May 30th 2014.

I just wanted to say that is great news! I wish you guys lots of happy, happy times together :)
