Yes ,we have a lawyer,but he does nothing,just waiting.

USCIS requested RFE on 4/14/2015,

On 5/14/2015 they got our RFE,and told us to wait 60 days,after that I called to USCIS (on 7/16/2015),the other day they sent an email in which was written that we have to wait another 60 day.But I think the email was automatic .

Now I don't know ,I think USCIS lost the case or may be forgot about the case((((

What was your waiver for? It seems like by 5months they were actively working on your case and a decision would have been made if they didnt RFE you. So good to know if wasnt 9 monyhs of no answer period. Does your case involve anything criminal as maybe they have to do further searches and maybe thats holding it up??

Either way nine monts seems like hell to wait i would def. Get someone involved. Goodluck

I just call the NSC today. They told me unless I filed before the processing date January 2, 2014, that I was not outside processing dates, that the January 2, 2014 is not a typo. Why do criminal waivers take longer?

March filiers--our receipt dates are March 30th and April 3rd. We got an updated date on the CEAC site on 8/12. I have seen this mentioned in previous posts. Is this good news?? How soon after the CEAC change should I expect our decision? No changes from USCIS yet...

@kristbarr...

Just for clarity... are you saying your visa refusal message on the CEAC website has a new "Status Updated Date" even though your USCIS site still only says "My case was received"?

Our receipt date is March 5th, and nothing has changed on either site for us.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say. "My case was received" is still showing up for the USCIS site, but the "Status Updated Date" has changed in the CEAC site--still showing Refused.
